Seriously, if you don't like this movie you can go **** yourself.

It was definitely a good movie, but nothing spectacular. Seth Rogans character is terrible and the entire plot is fairly predictable. Anna Kendrick seems to play the same character in every movie she stars in. It could have been a lot better.

But seriously? Rogen is at his best, and steals most the scenes he's in. The rest of the entire cast is spectacular.

I almost tear up every time I watch it.

It couldn't have been better because it's already perfect.

You know you can't do it.

Seth Rogan as an actor was OK in it, but his character was very unlikable and it's very hard to believe his and Gorden Levitts relationship. The two were complete opposites of one another. The cast was fine, but the plot was predictable and although it had some powerful scenes, they were in stark contrast with Rogans comedy relief.

If Silver Linings Playbook is 2012's 50/50, it's very easy to see where SLP trumps 50/50. It helps to have relatable characters. Something 50/50 was missing.

I guess it depends from person to person but which characters did you find relatable and for what reasons?

Mainly Rogen's character, and the mother.

Rogen's character is almost exactly like how I would deal with a situation of having a friend of mine have cancer.

The mother, for obvious reasons.

The mother was annoying and acted to the situation in a predictable manner. I would have liked something original. Rogens character may have worked if Rogen wasn't the actor. He was far too crass either way and I was unable to be drawn to the character.

Anyway, we tend to disagree a lot. The Two Towers is my least favourite LOTR movie. But that's fine. It's all about opinion.

Blaspheme! How dare you insult my future wife!

But that's like saying George Clooney or Denzel Washington play the same character in every movie. Anna is a terrific actress and I urged you to watch Up in the Air if you haven't done so already.

There is no one else that I would have wanted to play her role in 50/50. She has a warming, heartfelt presence about her, however, she maintained this textbook fright about her character throughout the first half of the film or so.

She was very convincing

I've been reading Matt Bissonnette's (Mark Owen is his pseudonym) No Easy Day which is pretty much is autobiography of his SEAL career and his participation in the Bin Laden raid. It's fantastic, I can't put it down and I only got it yesterday. I'm already half way through the book... it's truly a behind the scenes look at real life SEAL events and he makes you feel like you're working along side him on the team. Truly awesome
