Re: ZaCHw117's Collection/Hoodrat B/S thread UPDATE PG. 804

Hahahaha I love the second one :lol:lol:lol

My nig, I beat LOU: spoilers and discussion below:

Holy ****! The greatest game ever made and probably ever to be made. I am absolutely blown away right now. Naughty Dog just set the bar SO high. I seriously never expected it to end how it ended. And to be quite honest, I loved the ending. It was bittersweet because I wanted it to continue but then again, I felt relieved that they reached Tommy's camp and their finally able to live. The connection between Joel and Ellie was amazing, and they really became a family towards the end of the game. Butchering those doctors and carrying Ellie out was so surreal. I took a shotgun to the first one, then emptied a pistol clip on the other and then smashed the third's face into the wall lol. But **** got real when Joel shot Marlene. "You would just come after her..." ****!!! Amazing!

Man, I don't even know where else to begin. I kept thinking that Joel died after falling on the pole at the end of Fall and then I kept thinking Ellie would die in the Firefly base. I loved being on both sides though; playing as Joel made me so protective of Ellie and then vice versa for Joel playing as Ellie.

Now thoughts about a sequel? I'm not sure- I feel quite content knowing that they're at Tommy's and they'll live as much as they can. Joel will teach Ellie how to swim, play guitar and they will have each other. But then again, I want to continue this epic experience and story. I'm so torn lol!

What about you? Favourite scenes? Thoughts on sequel? How did you kill the 3 doctors lol?

Dude, tell me about it. At that moment I had so much conflict going through my head, do I kill these doctors? Do I let them live? I ****ing tore them apart. One was saying "please don't! please!" and I domed her out. I felt so bad haha. Dude, the ending is just too amazing. I wan't a sequel, but I want it to be on par (which I don't think is even possible) but there's story DLC coming out, and I'm not to sure if they'll pic up from the end or if they'll make it like a "lost scene" type DLC. All I know is that this IS the best game I've ever played.

I was thinking the same but I was so caught up in the moment and thinking that these ****s were going to cut a little girl's head open... **** em!

I haven't heard anything about the DLC... Should be interesting.

I'm thinking about getting a PS3 just to catch up on all these so called "amazing" exclusives. However, Xbox One is still my preferred next gen console game wise.

In the end I'll probably pick up a PS4 as well just to have the benefit of playing Naughty Dogs games. I'll have the best of both worlds (Halo and Naughty Dog).

Just saw WWZ and it was amazeballs!

Nice, I'm going to go sometime this week after work! Too bad IMAX didn't release it domestically, we only did overseas (mainly China) :(

That's the way to do it, to many nerds fight over which games or console are superior. When most of them haven't even tried the games!

Dude you'll love it!

Dude! It's pretty ****ing cool eh?

Very very good- not as good as Man of Steel but I really enjoyed it. However, after playing Last of Us, I was expecting crazy *** zombies- this was more just infected hordes (which was really awesome as well).

Yup, I really liked the realistic world approach they took. It was a nice fresh zombie flick that felt it surpassed the "zombie movie" stereotype.

Man of Steel review -
Christopher Nolan and David S Goyer are to blame for bringing this movie down. Zach Snyder has proved he can do comic book films (The Watchmen) and if he was given full creative control behind the camera, this film could have been marvelous. Unfortunately there is too much influence from Nolan throughout the film, and it feels out of place. Batman is a dark character, suitable for Nolan's directing and writing. Superman on the other hand screams Zach Snyder. The messages of courage, hope, destiny etc. are all fantastic themes that suit Snyders directing and film making style. David S Goyer, like Nolan, bought too much of Batman over into Superman, and simple plot holes and out of place scenes are abundant. Where was the Zach Snyder intro? That was just one thing that was obviously missing from this Snyder film. There were many scenes, however, where I felt the script truly fitted his visual and directing style, and those scenes were the ones that gave you the real feeling that is was a Superman film. Shannon was amazing, once again certifying his acting abilities. Cavill was fantastic, truly fitting the role of Superman. Everyone else felt typical, like I was watching a Superman film with characters from The Dark Knight. Once again, David S Goyer is to blame.

This could have been the Superman film we've been waiting for, but sadly the involvement of Nolan and Goyer has bought this film down to an 8/10. I was genuinely disappointed that I didn't get to see a Zach Snyder Superman.

Re: ZaCHw117's Collection/Hoodrat B/S thread UPDATE PG. 804

Brady, Nolan approved the first draft of the film, which Snyder and Goyer put down and changed. He was also not as dominant over production as other's thought.

I guess he was only on set once or twice. What you saw was a Goyer (yes he's very overrated IMO as well) and Snyder film.
