1/6 Zack Snyder's Justice League - 1/6th scale Knightmare Batman and Superman Collectible

Caved and got myself an Al Iglesias coat for Batman. The difference it makes is astounding and it hands down the most accurate coat on the market. I have the OSK coat on now, which is still so much better than the re designed reissue coat, but Al’s just blows it outta the water.

This reminds me, I still have yet to try on the DAFTOYS coat I ordered ages ago. IIRC the issue with it was they uses precise scissor cuts for the distressing on the bottom hem. But it seems that in-hand it’s not noticeable at all for most.

Anyway, the new stock coat looks pretty darned good to me, honestly. I just haven’t felt motivated to make the switch.

This reissued figure was a slight disappointment to me actually. It lacks the detailed weathering that I see in photos and videos of the OG figure. I don’t care enough about that though to attempt weathering it further myself by applying a dry brush application to dirty him up more.

I mean, I’m happy to finally have it! It’s a cool figure for sure. But it’s my fifth Batfleck and I like three others in the collection way more. The ones I like better are: BvS standard suit, Battle Damaged Armored, and JL Tac suit—in that order. This figure comes in at number four. Last place is JL standard suit Batman.

Lol I did the same. I have the daftoys one but Al's coat is just way way better. This batman is one of my favorite 1/6 figures so it deserves the best lol.

One figure I really regret not getting is the original armoured Batman. Hope InArt make that suit or Batfleck has some new version of it if he's going to fight Darkseid.

Unconfirmed I think. But Batfleck is confirmed for Aquaman and The Flash. So that’s probably 2 different looks right there.

But I guess theoretically in Aquaman he could be simply Bruce Wayne. Not sure if it was confirmed as an in suit appearance.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, Knightmare Batman is a really cool figure. I‘m fairly confident that if I weather it I won‘t mess it up, and that in fact should only improve it. I guess it’d actually be more valuable then since I’m hearing that there are some improvements to the new figure versus original. Not that I’d ever sell it.

JL Batman Deluxe I bought mainly for the parademon stand and blaster to pair with Tac Suit. Plus the Bruce Wayne head sculpt. But for me the figure itself is the most lackluster among all the Batflecks. If a collector has no Batfleck at all it’s definitely still worth getting at a decent price just to have a Batfleck. But HT didn’t get the cowl and suit right for that figure. If IA/QS makes it I trust they’d do it justice. Imo it’s actually a pretty cool looking suit in the tunnel battle scenes. But I realize folks that don’t have BvS Batman would prefer IA/QS to make that, understandably.

The next 10 years is going to be interesting indeed. It certainly looks like Zaslav wants to build off of what Snyder established. Everything he’s done points in that direction thus far. How that will work out in practice remains to be seen. But it looked to me like the change in tone to Black Adam signals that they want to recapture the gravitas of the Snyder films versus going MCU-lite.

I think after some tinkering and futzing, the regular jl Batman can look bad ass. I got mine looking as great as it can. Those faceplates are just way to affleck to pass up.

I did the chest and neck mods which does help. What sorts of tweaks did you make?

That’s about all I did. I also futzed with the arms and not insert the cowl all the way down so his traps look a little bigger. The thin neck doesn’t bother me like it does most. I also didn’t use a custom cape as I am happy with the stock one.

Really the only bummer thing is the suit material and the contrast of the bat symbol.

Got mine today from BBTS well packed and in a perfect condition. Overall happy with the set,but Superman Logo on chest is wonky on mine, in most cases this logo is always wonky. Is it too hard to make it smooth and perfect? I have every Cavill Superman and all them have this issue. Also small eyeballs truly make him lool cruel. Tired of this sculpt to be honest. Gonna put OSK sculpt on.
Also I know majority of you like wired cape,but I don't like it, fabric feels cheap.

So after inspecting figures and checking reviews seems that logo and collar cut is wonky basically on every figure, I guess it's caused bc of the material they use for the costume. While I'm Cavill and Superman fan Superman didn't impress me as much as Batman! Superman is basically recolor of the previous releases so nothing WOW about him, Batman is another thing, I had no chance to get the previous release so super happy with this one! He is just amazing! Also noticed my Superman has smaller eyeballs than usual,which makes him look evil lol I don't mind as we have seen this sculpt 50 times and I have bunch of them so some variation is good lol For me this set is 10/10 supporting the snydercut/snyderverse movement since day 1 so it has a sentimental value for me.

Worth of wait! This set is must have for the ppl like us! Black Adam figure looks amazing imo, I hope rumours about Superman cameo is true and hope Hot Toys finally makes a new headsculpt for him lol Fingers crossed! Knightmare Batsy is a star of this set, he is so unique and well made! Beautiful and iconic!!!

I think the Superman cameo is a lock at this point. At least in a post credit scene.

Considering they listen to the fans a bit more now i also hope JL 2 & 3 are a real possibility down the road. No doubt with a different story than originally planned but they cant leave Darkseid open ended like that.
