DC Films prez says Snyder will have no further involvement in DCU. But if ZSJL is a success at least it will mean vindication and hopefully they'll keep the Snyderverse going a bit longer.

They are underestimating the fan base after star wars you would have thought that they would learn. I mean I would like to understand what they are doing and were they are going a multiverse is not something that is easily digested by the common masses . I mean do they think because they tired it in the CW that it will translate in to the movies.

It's never even a long term story line in the comics they make for get "what if stories" but they are never the main story line. I do t understand why they are constantly rebooting . If they already said they are not interested in copying marvel and want independent movies why not start using your library of characters.

Where is green lantern and cyborg movies Martian manhunter. You instead want 2 superman /woman characters what is the point were is this going.

had they'd been consistent in making movies for their characters and fleshing them out people would probably accept the universe more.

It?s a nice arc but it isn?t compelling or new at all. It?s been done before and again it doesn?t excuse the character for being sad all the time. Every hero gets bullied. Hell Batman ( the most emo hero) watched his parents die and holds a grudge against it and even he isn?t sad all the time. In bvs he?s still sad after accepting his role. He looks like he?s about to cry when he?s helping the humans . It?s a very good arc but it doesn?t excuse the character for being a sad sac throughout the entire run of his career? So he?s supposed to be sad forever? I understand his conflicting feelings early on but now that it?s over he just seems depressed and angry throughout. It?s fine to be sad and upset but damn. Cw Superman may of had it just as bad , who knows.

But then again I guess I would be pretty shaken to if I broke a guys neck.

I don't understand the bit about having "been done before"... I hadn't seen a Superman story like that... besides, you're the one who is asking to bring back the Superman that has already been done... :huh

As for "doesn't excuse the character for being sad all the time", well, two things:
1. He's not sad all the time. I know you love hyperbole, but you know that statement is not true. Both in MoS and BvS we see moments of happiness, determination and pride. If you choose to ignore that, it's your problem, not the movie's.
2. Being bullied as a kid, having horrifying experiences, having to hide your true self, losing your dad, discovering you're a freaking alien, feeling rejected despite trying to do good... I could go on, but you get the idea (or maybe not :dunno). Of course that would be enough to make anybody feel pretty dejected most of the time. And again: he's not sad all the time :slap

And, re: being "sad" after accepting his role in BvS, here it goes again: in MoS he has found his place, he has accepted his role (with great cost to himself: your glib comment about breaking somebody's neck -how anybody fails to see the emotional cost it has on Superman is beyond me, but oh well) and sets out to be Superman. BvS shows us from the first moment, through Bruce Wayne, the conflicted reactions of people. It even states "Mankind is introduced to the Superman", and it is through a terrible, monstrous destruction. Even though Superman saved humanity, it was at a terrible cost, both to him and the unfortunate inhabitants of Metropolis. Here is the Superman, doing everything in his power to stop an engine of destruction that will wipe out humanity, but in doing so thousands die and he is forced to not just kill, but murder. So we have a world that suddenly has to contend with what amounts to a god -and an alien to boot- walking among us, and all hell breaks loose! He tries to do good, and people accuse him of murdering defenceless civilians, while on the other hand there is a masked vigilante terrorising a city and nobody cares.
And you're telling me it makes no sense that this guy gets pissed off or depressed every now and then?
Yet this is the same guy who flies off to save people in a burning building.
This is the same guy who walks into a hearing to be judged by people who distrust him, when he could just ignore them and keep doing what he can.

But to you this is a sad, mopey, loser who doesn't inspire and isn't an example of hope.

It?s been done in a sense that other heroes have gone through bullying and losing a parent . Nothing new .

And cool. He shows determination and pride . Still comes off as sad most of the time . And don?t say what I like and dislike please. I don?t know where you got that I like hyperbole from . I can say I know you like to blindly follow Snyder but I don?t .

Also he destroyed a whole freaking city. Or did you not watch the film . Of course Batman and civilians should fear him. That?s his own fault . His fighting caused a whole city to almost be destroyed . That?s his own fault . Batman terrorized the city? Huh? He marked men who were criminals for dead but he didn?t terrorize the city . What movie were u watching? He has no business to be upset. He caused all the issues and should be feared. Or is he to stupid to realize that fighting in a populated city could kill millions?

I don?t know what film you saw but the dude pretty much was reckless, didn't try to solve the issue with Batman at all and cracked a smile every once in a while . Especially that creepy smile he had when Batman punched him and he got his powers back

Again Spider-Man saw his uncle Ben die infront of him , the city hates him and he is seen as unwanted . Snyders Superman didbt break the mold . Hell his whole arc is pretty much almost like Batman begins. Hell they even gave him the shaggy beard. Lol but sheesh maybe he has a reason to be sad. All the things he?s done.

Please stop acting like this Superman did something new. We literally see a hero who struggles with the world they live in and who feels like an outcast on a daily basis. Hell the ninja turtles do it. Hell frozen did it.

And no he doesn?t seem like someone who wants to inspire . Just a guy who feels like he must do it cause he?s the only one who can. Even bullying Batman to not help and breaking his car. Didn?t even give him his insurance information. That?s a good inspiration to you?

Literally there did not need to be a BvS battle in the movie called BvS lol

Well, this sums BvS pretty nicely for me:

Don't get me wrong, I want the Snyder Cut to succeed. I want to see a good Justice League film too.

"Next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it.

That was always such a bizarrely specific demand to get his point across. Just say "time to hang up the cowl, you're done" or something. His actual command was just so unnecessarily elaborate and stupid.

"Next time they call your number at the DMV, don't go to the counter. Your license has expired. Cut it up with scissors and throw it in the trash. Then take it out on trash night and put it on the curb. With whatever other garbage you had for the week of course."

Yes, it's awfully specific, like what if someone doesn't shine his light in the sky, but instead they contact him some other way, can he dress like a bat then? :lol In fact, I don't think anyone was shining the bat signal in that sequence, because Bats was secretly following the bad guy or something?

The whole scene is strange because there's no reason for Sups to look so angry and disgusted the whole time. That was their first time meeting and Sups didn't even introduce himself as Kal el or say, "I've heard of you. I thought you were a myth." Or, "I'm gonna need to see your license and registration, please." Something nice to break the ice, damn. He instead destroys the car and threatens Bats. Bats is supposed to be the angry aggressive one making the empty threats because he mistakenly fears Superman. But no, instead they both acted like pieces of ****. Sups even more that Bats. :lol

Wow just realized it’s finally premiering this month

Hope it’s worth all the hype

So far HBO Max hasn’t lived up to the hype with this new campaign. First with WW84 and next with T&J the movie IMO :lecture
