Just look at WB's animated movies and comics. WB puts Batman on like every cover of their animated shows and Batman seems to be involved in group team possible. IMHO, I think what Marvel holds over DC is that it actually takes place in the real world. DC has a bunch of fictitious names for their main cities. If I was in charge, I would change them. Another problem is that most of them have god-like powers, which is hard for some people to have something relatable to. Unfortunately, you just have to use life experiences (aka writing) as the best way to get to that point. People want to rip Snyder for his choices, look at how OP WW is. Riding on lightning with a lasso? REALLY?

Most marvel characters have god like powers to. Thor is a god. That?s not the issue. The issue is just the writing and how they portray the characters. The tv side does fine but the movie side is ran by a bunch of idiots who don?t know anything about the characters and how touched millions. Batman they get cause they?ve been doing him forever but everyone else they are trying to understand and they said they don?t sell. That?s why a WW movie hasn?t been made til marvel started crushing it. They think there characters suck and it?s sad.

These idiots made a ttg movie before an actual teen Titans movie. That?s a damn shame .

If they believe in flash like they did Batman we?d have that movie by now. But sometimes DC spins out absolute gold like joker recently. They have potential but they make the dumbest decisions a studio can make. I thought Sony was the dumbest but Atleast they got common sense and joined marvel .

WB purposely doing this to show that there are other Superman alternatives to big boi Cavill

I'm digging the heck out of this show so far. After having read literally hundreds of Superman comics spanning several decades, I'm loving how there are themes being developed here that have barely (and in some ways *never*) been explored before for Supes and his heritage.

This will probably eventually be ruined by the same garbage that infests the other CW shows (I *really* hope I'm wrong), but for now I think it's doing a really good job on many levels of storytelling and production value. The first two episodes have surprised me so much on the positive side that it's gonna suck that much more if/when it heads south.

That wasn't bad. And I watched the pilot and found it decent. Unfortunately I know my enjoyment probably won't last because the very nature of supervillain of the week ''despecializes'' and weakens Superman. Maybe if it was a limited series of 10 episodes or something with a running arc but I'm guessing this is the 22-24 episodes per season deal which I just think is overkill.

Yes to all. Completely agree. I was going to comment on how the show seems to take us to a time in Superman's life we've not seen before but I wasn't 100% sure that was the case. It was definitely part of the appeal of that first episode for me along with the impressive visuals and effects.

Lois and Clark with offspring has been done before, but not like this. And the second episode goes further into unexplored territory with how they incorporate Jor-El and the Kryptonian legacy/heritage. I love it.

That's pretty good. I like how powerful this Superman is compared to the Snyder version. He easily defeated the villain, HEARD the bomb in the ship, flew to the city in a second using SUPER SPEED, stopped the spaceship from crashing into the city, took it to space, thus saving the day, in a 2 minute clip. :lol

Meanwhile in another universe...

If he doesn't, he's not Superman. He's Supermeh.

Your Superman should wear a K S on his chest for "Kinda Superman." :lol

Lois - "What does the KS stand for?"

KS - "It's not a KS. Where I'm from it means..."

Lois - "HOPE?"

KS - Nope, it means "Hopefully."

Lois - "Hopefully?"

KS- "Hopefully I don't destroy the earth!" \_(ツ)_/
