Aquaman recruitment scene was instantly better now that it showed that most of the town didn't speak English. Whedon presented it as if Curry was just announcing to everyone that Bruce Wayne was Batman.
Steppenwolf's arrival and the subsequent Amazon/Mother Box chase was SOOOO much better. Wow did Whedon go out of his way to make that sequence utterly laughable. I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest.

I haven't watched any of it yet (hoping to start in tonight) but without even considering the film's quality it's not hard to understand why the WB suits were going to can Snyder over it. He basically took 4 hours to tell PART ONE of his Justice League story when he sold them on a two movie story arc. I'm pretty sure if any of us spent twice the time and resources necessary on a project and still failed to deliver what we were contracted for that would be cause for termination. I'm curious if after viewing this anyone thinks there's an edited version of it (say @2-1/2 hours long) that would have been coherent enough to release back in 2017. Apparently WB/DC didn't think so.
I won’t know until I watch it tonight but something tells me there is going to be a whole lot of exposition done in slow mo rain lol

Audience scores are high because the only people watching this four hour turd and reviewing this are Snyder fanboys.
Beers in, pizza coming, time to watch this behemoth, excitement through the roof! Audience scores are very high, RT keeps trending upwards, hype train full swing.
Exposition...you don't know the half of it.
At the top of every hour Steppenwolf phones home to say the same thing in a slightly different way.
I have heard there's a ****load of slow-motion. He probably could have cut 30 minutes out just by having those scenes run at normal speed...
Well, when you inevitably watch it, try not to hate it too much, and try not to be too salty
It's no joke that the slow-motion contributes a good deal to the inflated run time. Pretty much any scene not featuring dialogue is slow-motion in fact.
Regardless, now knowing exactly which scenes/shots/lines were Snyder's and which were Whedon's so far there hasn't been one single moment that I would say that Whedon actually improved. Whedon's scene where Flash scribbles marker all over the guy's face making him look silly in the theatrical cut is a perfection representation of what he did to Zack's film.
Funnily enough I'm finding myself kind of wanting to own the 2017 JL now just for the lolz since I'll always have Zack's version to go back to. Kind of how I disowned the Schumacher Batflicks until Nolan's trilogy made me realize I could still enjoy those as harmless and ridiculous fun from time to time, lol.
I wonder what JAWS will think of Snyder's cut since I know that he was one of the few who considered the 2017 JL to have a genuinely enjoyable "Saturday Morning Cartoon" vibe.

Is it really a Zack Snyder film of it doesn?t have an over abundance of slow mo? I have to say this was vastly superior in every aspect to JWs, however there?s zero chance Warner Bros would have allowed the 4 hour run time that this really needed. I would?ve happily sat through it, but how many regular folk who aren?t comic fanboys would?
