The # 1 head of ALL of WB just announced today via Variety that NO MORE SNYDERVERSE and NO AYER CUT OF SS!

YES!!!! That's all I was asking for before. We're done with it!!! Done!!!! WE'RE FREE!!!!

We need a Wor-Gar chant whenever he enters this thread....

Like...

Wooooooor Ahhhhhhh

l

Mine's more like the tribal screams in the movie Election.

Wow the Keaton thing is NOT a rumor he made a statement about it with great uncertainty about doing it

I think he is doing aggressive negotiations lol

WB finally releases something DCEU related that fans are generally pleased with...

and then immediately they're like,

Are fans generally pleased with Snyder's JL? Or will this pass too when the hangover wears off? Seems fans were poised to like this no matter what they were handed. But they also have a tendency to reevaluate ... and reevaluate... hence every possible style of Batman known to mankind has been made in movie form.

Who can say. It could just be a honeymoon phase and in a couple months people will be saying the movie was worse than anything ever made in the history of existence.

They were happy to have given Snyder his chance to complete his vision and right the wrongs but no more movies they want to go in new territories with the JL.

She was specifically asked about restoring the snyderverse campaign and the answer was NO!

It is officially over.

Also it is being reported that Keaton and Affleck might drop out of the Flash movie now, rumors only though.

Yikes!

Snyder fans still believe it will come true tho

I’ll admit I thought they might approve more of his JL for HBOMAX only but NOPE not even that.

2 key people being mentioned why they are not moving forward:

Chuck Rovin and Ray Fisher

I'm ok with no more Snyderverse.
I'd like to see more of the cast he chose: Gadot, Cavill, Momoa, Miller and hopefully one more good role for Affleck and Leto. But I don't really need more of Snyder's vision. I'm perfectly fine with how it ended.

“Officially” not happening. Lol just like the studio and so many people swore the Snyder cut would never happen....riiiiiiight. They wouldn’t throw around $70 million on a movie they thought would go no where. With all the buzz and positive reception there will be some sort of sequel or spin-off, only a matter of time.

I can attest that HBO Max could be a diverse outlet of the Snyderverse, I mean after flashpoint who else knows what?s game

Talking to Variety, WarnerMedia CEO Ann Sarnoff was asked for her reaction to that new fan campaign.

"I appreciate that they love Zack’s work and we are very thankful for his many contributions to DC," she started. "We’re just so happy that he could bring his cut of the 'Justice League' to life because that wasn’t in the plan until about a year ago. With that comes the completion of his trilogy. We’re very happy we’ve done this, but we’re very excited about the plans we have for all the multi-dimensional DC characters that are being developed right now."

"We’re always going to listen to our fans, but we are in service of the broadest fanbase and we owe them an integrated, holistic strategy. We are the shepherds of the franchise and hopefully when the fans see what we’ve got in store they’ll know that DC is in good hands across many different platforms with many different creators," Sarnoff explains. "We want different voices in the mix. For certain fans that want singular voices, they may be disappointed, but we would ask them to be patient and see what we’ve got in store because perhaps the newer voices in the mix will have just as compelling stories to tell."

Sounds like a wrap for SnyderVerse folks!

I wouldn't count the Snyderverse out yet.
I'm fine if this particular storyline ends here, but I can see enough reasons for it to go forward: they've had MEGA-buzz over it, people in general seem to like Snyder's cast, and with the multiverse idea they can do whatever they want to, as long as it brings fans and money.
Yeah, i wouldn't be surprised at all if in a couple of months time they announce a sequel or a couple of series following the Snyderverse.
