Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Like move on. They can't recast Cyborg because your going to get social media to bully and destroy him. DC basically can't use this character now in their movies for the foreseeable future.

This is what Fisher should be saying:

An investigation was done, and I did not find it satisfactory. I believe my time as Cyborg is done for now, but I hope this situation doesn't stop DC from pursing the Cyborg character. I believe this character can be a great addition to the DC movie universe, and can be a source of pride for both black actors and black superheroes. I just want to thank the fans for being supportive through this.

If he's not satisfied with the outcome he certainly should say so, but that's it, not keep dragging it forever.

He already tweeted last month and said he thought the 'process was fair and thorough, and thanked the fans.'

Like if you felt the independent investigator and his decisions were fair, move on. Just because it didn't turn out 100% how you wanted it too....move on.

Done talking about this guy. He is getting the attention he wants.

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Idk man that overly spiky look just looks too much and just seems silly imo. The old one, generic sure. but atleast it looks ltame. I can't take that design serious. It's like a child drew it. How does one even begin to put that on?

I don't know, It's alien tech so it's not something we understand. Maybe a liquid metal machine that forms around him like the T-1000.
:dunno
Not a great design, but not the worse design I've seen. The original Steppenwolf looked boring, this new one at least doesn't look boring.

The original steppenwolf looks like Abraham Lincoln in kinky cosplay . Lol

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

I can understand being upset if he was treated poorly, but somebody has to tell him that it's time to move on... I think everybody got his point by now. I mean, I wish him all the best and I hope he has a great career, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

Regarding the Steppenwolf design, yeah, so far it doesn't look so hot, but I'll hold my judgement until I see the final product in action on my TV screen. I'll say one thing though: it does look a lot more interesting than what we saw in Whedon's JL.

First time I saw it it reminded me a lot of Dan Simmons' The Shrike from the Hyperion novels.

Just a reminder: That wasn't Whedon's design - that was a compromise that Snyder had already agreed on after the suits (& focus groups IIRC) didn't want/like his Mr. Porcupine proposal.

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Interesting, I didn't know that.

yeah, I remember seeing that same exact Steppenwolf in the trailer before Whedon took over.

I think the compromise that basically got Snyder fired was involving Cyborg's dad. It apparently made the movie even more gloomy then BvS. They wanted to change things to have a Cyborg standalone, but changing that would have changed a lot of the movie. Snyder has suggested in the past this was the controversial sticking point.

Yup, nothing wrong with upholding what he thinks is right and demanding an investigation (although I disagree by how he essentially incited the internet mob to jump to conclusions without clear context) but at this point he come's off as a whiny little wuss. What did he expect the outcome would be? WB casting him as the new black Batman? He's done, time to move on.

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Snyder will probably now say that Steppenwolf is the heart of the movie lol

Hey you can?t fire a cgi character

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Apparently it's been leaked that this'll be getting a 4K physical release. :woo

Not sure when though. I can't imagine they'd drop it soon after it hits HBO Max, since they're using it as an advertising tool to get more subscribers.

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Ohhh snap the CEO of Warner Media just released this:

"I believe in Walter Hamada and that he did not impede or interfere in the investigation," Sarnoff said in her statement. "Furthermore, I have full confidence in the investigation's process and findings. Walter is a well-respected leader, known by his colleagues, peers, and me as a man of great character and integrity. As I said in Walter's recent deal extension announcement, I'm excited about where he's taking DC Films and look forward to working with him and the rest of the team to build out the DC Multiverse."

WarnerMedia also touched on the Justice League investigation.

The company said its "extensive" investigation was "conducted by an outside law firm, led by a former federal judge who has assured WarnerMedia that there were no impediments to the investigation." The company then addressed Cyborg's removal from The Flash movie.

"Last summer, Mr. Fisher was offered the opportunity to reprise his role as Cyborg in The Flash," WarnerMedia said in the full statement, obtained by Variety. "Given his statement that he will not participate in any film associated with Mr. Hamada, our production is now moving on. Warner Bros. remains in business with Geoff Johns who continues to produce Stargirl, Batwoman, Doom Patrol, Superman & Lois, and Titans for the studio, among other projects."

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

A month after Ray Fisher openly declared that he'll never participate in a Walter Hamada production he's now crying on Twitter about being cut from The Flash. What a nutjob, lol.

Re: Zack Snyder's Justice League coming in 2021

Ray Fisher released a further statement saying that he is looking forward to moving on from Warner Brothers and hoping that Lucasfilm will consider him for a new Star Wars movie but then followed up on his original statement by adding that Disney could have done done a much better job with John Boyega with how poorly they handled Finn and that he was really not a big fan of the sequel trilogy

I think he needs a therapist and a better PR rep more than a lawyer... :slap

He also said that he's hoping to be added to the MCU and that he'll never work on a Kevin Feige production, lol.
