Pretending your opinions are facts again I see.

We are still talking about it because fans are divided and have resolute opinions that neither side wants to drop. Granted, the division is higher on one end but it's still there. Very few movies, if any, that are "bad" have arguments that raged this long after they came and went. Surely there is a reason for that.
I had a look on here at superhero movies that weren't loved by all to see what amount of discussions went on.

Iron Man 3: Lasted 16 months after release.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Lasted 10 months after release.
Man of Steel: Lasted 7 years after release
BvS: Lasted 4 years after release (see if you can guess who the last post was by)
Wonder Woman 1984: Lasted 18 months after release (another cameo by you)

There are very few if any arguments back and forth over over TASM 2 in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 [NWH] figure thread. Same with Wonder Woman 1984 and that figure.
Why is that do you think?

wtf are you talking about? . Of course they do! Batman vs robin is still talked about to this day, tasm2 is still talked about to this day. And are you really basing the world’s view discussion on this message board that’s very niche? Come on really?
The reason that discussion went on is cause people had high hopes for it and the directors cut. It’s not cause anyone thought it was a deep movie that needed to be studied .
Also I’m sure the bvs movie lasted thst long cause of the back and forth similar to here. People telling others that the movie was deeper than it was.

So by your logic Batman and Robin is a masterpiece cause it’s still talked about to this day or films like the last Jedi which had a waaaaaaay bigger discussion than bvs are great movies cause they are still being discussed?

Again we only are talking about cause the whole “deconstructed” argument in this case we are saying it sucks or atleast I am.

Wow, dredging up an 8 year old pro-BvS column by a guy who doesn't like Marvel movies (and apparently doesn't think movies based on comic book heroes should be fun lol) to support your view? Finally got around to watching it. Liked it better than S1 - because what's not to like IMO if u like good 'ol fantasy and sci-fi. Tropey trope trope trope loaded with tropes and tried so hard to be epic and meaningful etc. They tried. It was perfectly inoffensive except for some eyerolls over the Last of the Mohicans guy with the hatchetsand great hair.

and the over the top end fight - John Wick this is not. The robot still looks kinda cool.

Look, I've seen episodes of Star Trek I've thought about years later (like, Picard). Gets an A for sincere effort tho. No, more *** and violence isn't gonna help 'coz TROPES but bein' a fantasy fan - it's no worse than the other "motley band of adventurers gets together to save McGuffin/sacred child" I've read over the years. Better than that (*&^% Witcher prequel or that Jupiter whatever movie. At least it wasn't magical teenagers. Rating = "eh".

As they said at the end of Part 2, next they 1) find Princess Issa, 2) continue to fight the Imperium.

It’ll be interesting to see the explanation for how Issa still lives. We do see her life energy leave her body when she is killed, though. And she resurrects a dead bird in Part 1 using the same sparkly light. One of the names of the ancient goddess Issa is “Lifegiver.” Maybe her spirit just leaves her body and at some point if it was left alone before whatever is done with corpses by the Imperium her spirit resurrects her slain body?
