Only the jacket V. Which was there but he'll move it closer to center. No word about the vest.

The paisley is not only too light, it's the wrong color (and perhaps not quite dense enough).
And grid shirt should be very light grey, not white.

Honestly the shirt always looked white to me so I'm fine with it as is. The biggest change I'd like to see is the color of the vest and vest collar.

And that can all be had with the clothing/accessory sets for a decent price, the fullset on the other hand does not add up.

The clothing + HS and clothing sets are more than worth it but even I, (a certified rainman nut), am having difficulty justifying the fullset price hike.

It will come with the stand, hands, neck, hands and feet pegs which can be tough to source out from the loose parts that are out on eBay.

Feet are needed as shoes Rainman sculpted usually use the sockets from the TT feet.

And I noticed that rainman is using the HT neck piece this time around for Marty.

As Mag said, those are all pretty easy to source actually

But I doubt that is the reason for most of the price differential in any case. I guess it's just essentially a catch-all price hike for the 'Rainman touch' whether it's his personal paint job, the special packaging, figure put together by him... etc.

i feel your pain. but then i thought it's marty mcfly. i remember waaaay back in the day, we used to talk and dream about 1/6 BTTF. i already have a seb custom and no doubt we'll see a manufactured one eventually... but you can never have too many martys. i'll put one in every room if i have to.

only thing is... i had no idea there was no bonus item. but i haven't had a rainman painted head in ages. and i could really tell the difference with the lebowski figs. so this is an extravagant christmas present to myself.

I will never buy less than a fullset ever again. The paint jobs are well worth the extra scratch imo. I think Rainman uped his painting game for the Dude, Alex and Bill.

not sure i could swing a fullset every time. this time coz it's BTTF, and i have some expendable cash from teaching ingrates this term. i actually like putting them together though - part of the fun. once you've put an HT predator or military figure together, everything else is easy.

cool for thursday. as long as coffee is coffee and not a euphemism for something else
