Limited to 20 pieces. I was looking on eBay and those go for like $2,000. Way out of my price range.
I like the Mars figure a lot and can’t wait to get it next week (along with Two-Face) but it just needed ONE more headsculpt and some riddles to put it over the top. Those Bruce Wayne and Tennis court riddles are absolutely brilliant.

Do you know if there’s any good scans of that “what once was red is black instead” card online? I ask since you’ve posted some behind the scenes pictures from the Burton movies I’ve never seen before. It would be fun to be able to try and print one of them out. I looked a while ago but couldn’t find anything.
The sculpt Mars showed for their bedazzled Riddler looked really dang good. I wonder if that’ll ever see the light of day - they haven’t posted about it in what feels like ages.

Everything looks good on that except the teeth. The look like they are applied on top of the mouth rather than in it. Very few folks get that right.Do you know if there’s any good scans of that “what once was red is black instead” card online? It’s on display at the Warner Bros Studios museum in Burbank. I saw it in person in 2019.
So wait, Mars revealed that? We might get the white and green Riddler with the skull cane? PLEASE. Be a great way to include more heads and accessories for this original.

Yep. I'm baffled as to why they thought that was a flattering picture to post. The teeth are hilariously bad there.
Also, they have gotta stop trying to recreate the over extended kneck of some of Jim's expressions.

Yep, a long while ago - around the time this Riddler first went up for preorder. It would be awesome if he went up soon after Two-Face releases.
Yeah you're right about that.
Funny, Sensation also got the Riddler mask wrong -- too dark.

Sold my Trubo version a few weeks ago so there’s definitely some people out there who would still want it.
At least they did the tie and shirt in different shades of yellow.
That they did. Although they also went with a red suit... and no subtle pinstriping on the good-side shirt like Mars did.

KGhobby has it up for preorder or you can get it from sellers on Aliexpress when it is actually released for cheap. There are definitely other places to get it.

In BigBreda's Collectors Unite live video today he talked briefly about Mars' Two-Face, then moved onto the naming of third party figures. He said by calling it "Dual Face" there was very little licence holders could do to stop it, even though the likeness of the figure was indisputable.
Then he went on to comment that most owners of third party companies are also owners of licensed companies, and that the third party element is just a "side hustle".
(There's the likes of VTS/DAM/VeryCool/EKUAZ, and Asmus/Xensation, but I didn't know it was the same situation for "most owners". Mars has, or had, a lot of connections to other companies along with alternate names - Saturn Toys; Six Feet Lane Studios; DAF Toys; Yan Toys; Beetoys; S-Hero; CGL; Fire Toys - but I don't know what licenced brand the owner might also own.

The real twist will be when it’s revealed Mars Toys is Hot Toys, and all this time Warner held up the approval process for years and years - and now Howard’s gone rogue and is finally taking matters into his own hands!
