I would say let’s just wait till the official photos and videos release instead of drawing all of your conclusions now based on two photos.
I would agree, but it's what has been released. Similar to Jazzinc and Catwoman. Talk is going to happen; good and bad.
They don't listen to us at dinner, either. Come on, let's play. Keeps us warm.

These are just teasers, it was the same with Aragorn and Batman. Photos were dropping of the production pieces and everyone went nuts, saying they were worse than the prototypes and that the sculpts were off.
So far most of the Aragorn pictures I have seen (with proper futzing and styling) looked great.

Ngl ppl are going nuts for anything, one pic with a bad lightning, or poor quality shot and everything shamble.

I prefer the jointed legs, will last much longer.

Yeah you are right, but at the same time these are the official teaser pics JND chose to put out there, specifically saying they want to stretch out the reveal as long as possible, so I think it’s also fair to criticize photos that a company (presumably) is putting out there to get collectors excited for how amazing their product is going to look.

As impressive as that diorama is, it swallows up the figures on display. I know they aren't proper released pics, but they really should be showing the figures much clearer/better than having them sitting awkwardly in a huge detailed diorama [a diorama they aren't even selling].

I really don't understand the purpose of silicone sculpts at this scale. Seems needlessly costly. The paint apps definitely suffer too. I don't think anyone will be cancelling their InArt preorders to buy these.

It's a gimmick, nothing more. Not saying it's bad, but alot of the appeal around JND for buyers is all the razzle dazzle of "glass eyes, squishy face like skin, ect". You can get all of that using plastic - just need a good sculpt and painter, which InArt has proven for half the cost.

All that time, effort and money spent to make this really intricate Common Room diorama just for their own photoshoot to mess up by not only putting a Dumbledore portrait on the wall (which shouldn’t be there), but it’s also the wrong Dumbledore for the first two movies (should be Harris and not Gambon) and he doesn’t die until HBP; so it shouldn’t even be a sleeping portrait. Not to mention, his sleeping portrait is hanging in the headmaster’s office and not the Gryffindor common room.

The Dumbledore painting is the most obvious mistake there, but next to nothing about the layout of the JND diorama matches how the Common Room looks in the films. Some of the decor is right, but it's mostly in the wrong places. They definitely went for wow factor over accuracy.

Copying Inart? JND have the best producton team to put all this out in the space between Inart announcing theirs and the announcement of this, unbelievable speed at research and development just to copy Inart!
