You can't just make extra sculpt from a limited run. It kills the purpose and might anger buyers.
I know. I'm just whining.

Because then that beautiful unique sculpt, becomes just another "Hit Me" ambrosia sculptWhy, oh, why can't he just make more 1/6th sleepy heads...?
I wish you had one man, I really do. I want all you guys that are as passionnate as me to enjoy as much.I know. I'm just whining.
But that’s his intentions for his open order rolling eyes concept.Because then that beautiful unique sculpt, becomes just another "Hit Me" ambrosia sculpt
There's room for both. I don't need something to be limited to enjoy it (i.e. Unreal's custom work). But it's great to have those limited runs too. It's an essential component to collectibility. There's enjoyment in exclusivity. But that’s his intentions for his rolling eyes concept.
15 overseas* there's more on the china market. It’s just that the one that was his hit was limited to 15, even Heise’s sculpt run produced more.
Well yes but those are goners for sure, once they float around we chat they get ate up never to be sold again.15 overseas* there's more on the china market.
True. It felt like screaming at the clouds until those samples were done.I definitely think John should have set it to 25-30.
Then again the sculpt didn't seem to gain traction until the first finished samples were shown. That's when things took a turn.
on the other end, you get something like Veyron's sculpt, that lost interest after the paint samples were shown.Understandably so, with the rate these pop up it’s best to snooze on a lot of them, the potential shines through in Heise’s paintwork.

I don't think so, he has a lot of commissions to work on right now and I think he hasn't come around to the sleepy Joker orders yet.Dio, has John completed any other clean sleepy heads? I haven't seen him share much on his page.
It always looked like a great sculpt. But once those painted/rooted samples were shown, it became that much clear that missing out would be a regrettable mistake.True. It felt like screaming at the clouds until those samples were done.
I tried to make everyone buy one here.
That's how much faith I had in his project.
Last time we talked about the rolling eyes he seemed confident about it, I think he found options for that.I don't have high hopes for that. Seems like something that requires fine machine tooling and not just print-and-assemble.
