If this was 1/12 I’d be 100% in. Looks fantastic.

BTAS Batmobile is just unwieldy at 1/6 scale.

Wow 47in long is as big as ecto one in length. Jazzinc please look into making shelves or partnering with a company for display shelves. This is gonna be a big car.

Description

After all, the standards set by series creator Bruce Timm and his Emmy Award-winning team were almost as sky high as were the expectations of passionate fans demanding a faithful interpretation that jumped out of the television screen and onto display shelves.

Challenged by the task of creating their first 1/6 collectible sourced from 2D animation, Jazzinc committed to the Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile project with the same diligence and expertise needed for reimagining a collectible in ⅙ scale from a live action property. And behold, the results.

The Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile by Jazzinc is the ultimate actualization of your childhood nostalgia.

Scaled at 47 inches (119.67 cm) long, 16 inches (40.1 cm) wide, and 9 inches (23.1 cm) high, and with features including an opening cockpit, a light-up dashboard, rotating rubber tires, and functioning headlights and backlights, every imaginable detail was realized. Even the exterior itself is made available in either a black or a blue shaded version so every collector can have their Batmobile just as they envision it.

The Animated Series Batmobile - blue shaded version features:
  • Opening cockpit
  • Light-up dashboard
  • Room for Jazzinc’s the Batman: The Animated Series ⅙ figures
  • Functioning headlights and backlights
  • Rotating rubber tires
  • World power supply
  • Numbered limited edition plate
  • Choice of black or blue shaded exterior (this product is for the blue shaded exterior. Click here when you prefer the black exterior.)

I love how it looks and though pricey that is not the defining factor for me.

It's just too big.

My wife gives me a huge amount of leeway with this hobby but when her dining room table becomes the home for a toy car... bridge too far.

That is what man caves are for!

This had to be 1/12 scale, i hope it gets the BVS Batmobile treatment. I would totally be in for a 1/12 version to go with the Mezco BTAS figures which are coming soon. McFarlane version is okay, but it won't be as premium and durable as Jazzinc.

I doubt we will get either version. They seem more focused on the 66 variant.
He already said it's not interfering because there is lag time in between projects. He's just filling production time potential with the 68. 68 Looks decent. Crazy how different it looks with different wheels, jet column and paint.

I feel Jada Toys is the one company that managed to make a good hybrid between a two-seater and the elongated aesthethic of the design. I find the idea of shortening the vehicle to fit a certain display cabinet over going for most commonly seen source material unfortunate.

I don't understand why no company thought to use the interior space underneath the vehicle hull. What I mean is, the driver's left shoulder is underneath the chassis, same with the by-passenger's right shoulder. That way the canopy could be slimmed down and thus look more like the dimension most often seen on the show.

Loving the metallic blue paint job, though.

Joost- What should we do with the bottom though?
Episodes that give some hints of possible (somewhat superfluous but fun) rarely showcased gadgets that could be added.
(several reminiscent of the 89 Batmobile (most referenced by Joost in previous vid)
And some shots of the bottom (though not a lot going on there):

...and ejection seat-back with rockets( that then expands into Batglider (good luck with that!)

Appointment Crime Alley:
( Launching Grappling hook and line.

Folding tail-lights, and reverse thrust, (though would leave that off as it would mar the sleek design)

Component Specific Shields
(which actually make more sense the the 89 full canopy shield.

Episode The Mechanic, might have the most shots of the engine.
(though not sure how you reconcile that secondary engine detail with the flat engine block , unless that flat area behind the turbine section also opens up, and that's where the line of deco "carburetors/intakes", belts and radiator cap sit, and maybe rise up?)

I'm not the target for this, yet am fascinated how it's engineered, and might be pulled off at 1:6

The below image isn't from JazzInc. Someone on the Facebook group suggested using some concept renders from Artstation (non-official) to fill out the engine more:
