I don't want to derail the thread too much, but since you asked, I'll try to answer without being too long winded. It's not really just about JND, so switching to their Kato Works line exclusively isn't something I would do to just stay in 1/6 scale. Prime1/Blitzway is doing some good work with their 1/3 Platinum line like their MJ and T800 Arnold. Has to do more with what the 1/3 scale brings to the table over 1/6 for me when it comes to movie related characters that I truly adore. Their presence is impressive, hard to beat; and, like previously mentioned, the realism is the best I've seen since I started collecting these sort of things back in 2007ish. I'm not really considering aftermarket resell value since they are characters I really want and aren't planning to sell in the near future, unless I absolutely have to.You wouldn’t like to transition to just their 1:6 line? Same materials but posable.
I know it’ll take a while to build a proper collection from their offerings given the current rate, but owning a lot of 1:3 heavy statues seems like the all or bust approach given how ravaged the aftermarket is currently, at least imo. A positive outlook from your approach would be the less likelihood of reissues and 2.0’s.
Anyway, it's just a thought that has come about due to me already selling a lot of my collection as it is. I still like 1/6 a lot which is why I keep buying it So, it's not like I'm dumping it all tomorrow. I keep buying the drug while trying to ween off it
ahh good 'ol Bam Bam Bigelow! They should totally include this mouthplate with the Returns 2.0, as well as the bomb he sticks onto the big circus strongman.
It almost seems too obvious for HT to include the smiley mouthplate.
