I am who they're making those parts for as I really love the look of the jedi without the robes and with the gauntlets. While a separate deluxe would be fine for me, how much cheaper would a non-deluxe be without the gauntlets? I suspect you could resell the gauntlets and make a bit of that $280 back...

Display space is at a premium after the last few years, so there is a need to be choosy. But the Wolfpack is awesome, and aside from Wolffe who I will order instantly if there's a sculpt (and likely after a week even if there is no sculpt), I think I'd be in for Comet, Sinker and Boost. Would be cool to have a few 104th to go with the handful of 501st we have.

Plus he’s a personal favorite of Dave Filloni. The Mando season 2 finale had him instead of Luke in most the internal materials (concept art, script, etc) within Lucasfilm to keep Luke’s appearance a secret to as many as possible. Being he was a favorite of Filloni, it was a plausible character return.
I actually did not know that. I'm not a Filoni hater like many as I think he's delivered some of the best post-Lucas Star Wars moments (Kanan's death, Battle of Mandalore/Order 66, Luke rescuing Mando/Grogu, etc) but damn using Plo Koon is a little silly. We literally saw him blow up on screen haha. Would have been the perfect time to screw with people and put Mace Windu in the script since there's too many people who want him to come back.
Plo was the only one I saved. I always felt he was the best looking of the Sideshow Jedis
I could see them retconing Plo’s death by having him eject himself out of his ship as it’s exploding, maybe in some kind of Force protective bubble. Yeah, it’s a little bit of a stretch but far more believe than Ayla Secura surviving those countless shots from Bly and company. I think some old comic or something claimed she lived through that. Plo at least didn’t die as visually as her or Mundi with blaster bolts hitting visually hitting them repeatedly. A giant fireball and a ship crashing has some more wiggle room, but yes, certainly would be stretching things.

Yeah. Here I agree. Anakin jumped out of his speeder and was traveling at who knows what speed and landed on another speeder. Mace flew out a window into the same traffic pattern as Anakin, but he automatically dead...
Maul chopped in half, alive. Palps incinerated, alive. Countless others impaled with a lightsaber, alive. Mace could easily and believably still have survived after that.
