Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread I'm planing on doing a 1/4 full body scale Rambo 4 really soon. I wanted to know what paint does HT use and I think I found it. Searched the net for reference pics but I think I'm gonna get the blue-ray to have all the angles I need for the sculpt.

When did you preorder yours? I still don't have any words from them.

I discovered this hobby past summer when I saw T-800 at the universal city walk. When I looked up HT online I saw how far the company got in a few years time. Their early figures are night and day compared to what HT does today, and although I love Rocky and Rambo I wouldn't want those figures...

I will definitely post the photos. I have a few more projects in mind...like battle damaged T2 (will try to squeeze in a led light) and Rambo 4. Those might come first but I might work on them simultaneously.

How many of you will be interested in a movie accurate Berserker head? I was thinking about doing a few customs.

Everyone has their own standards and perspectives. If a figure looks fine to someone that's great, enjoy it, but if some people are able to notice inaccuracies don't criticize them (unless they're obviously trolling)....and no....I'm not the type who's negative about every figure/statue.

I'm looking at HD-1002. A great statue, but the likeness could be better. There are some features that are really off.

Brothersrobber I'm with you here...The likeness of Bruce is quite a bit off in HD figures. I really want a good Bruce Lee figure or a statue but just can't find one worthy displaying. The quality is great just not the likeness.

I don't have to own a figure to have seen it. You mention the robe and the championship belt...that's great but the most noticeable part of the figure is the head sculpt which is not up to the level of what HT produces today.

I'm a huge Rocky fan and I don't want any of the older figures. I started collecting after seeing modern quality not toys from a few years ago. Older figures have some resemblance to the character but ways off what HT does today.

I didn't get any notice but I preordered from alteregocomics. Do they usually get their stock later than SSC?
