Nah, it isn't. For 300 bucks (more likely to be sth. around the 350-400 mark I think) I expect it to be a exact representation of Rex. As you've already pointed out the proportions do look a bit off. Let's just wait and see how this Chun-Li inspired Rex turns out to look in the end... ;-)

Yeah, well... I don't remember him looking as if he did crystal meth on a regular basis... Terrible paint job there. Also... the fact that play arts chose to use glossy colors on the Gray Foy figure annoys me. Wtf did play arts or Shinkawa for that matter choose to paint him like that? I don't...

My thoughts exactly. As of now we don't know how expansive Hot Toys MGS line will be and as you already said it's likely to be a rather small line...simply because Hot Toys figures are high quality products with higher production costs than Play Arts Kai figures. So Hot Toys will naturally be...

I'm impressed... I think it's amazing what Play Arts is doing with that MGS licence. Solid Snake and Gray Fox... this is getting better and better. I wonder if there are some more pleasant surprises ahead.:wink1:

Hmm, yes that was one boring E3. Nothing new that would've been of interest to me. I'm still waiting for that Timesplitters 4 announcement. ...yes I know it will never happen...sadly.

I think it's a great opportunity for many Xbox owners, finally being able to play part of the MGS series. Same goes for many PS3 only owners but I don't see myself buying the collection with my PS2 still running and the PS2 Games still at hand.
