1:1 Iron man Bust

Well, im boned....looks like SS already went ahead and gave me the refund. So much for a replacment...it took them 4 months to charge my credit card and 1 night to refund it back ...isnt it usually the other way around with businesses.

that bust looks great ,but to say its another 100% perfect; not so sure .There appears to be deep scratches on the neck? or is that just a reflection or bad pic? Dont get me wrong i luv this bust (got one on preorder) and not a hater but getting one that isnt horrible doesnt qualify as perfect either... definatly a keeper anyways and congrats looks great

Thats just the way the light is hitting it, there are no scratches on the neck area of mine.

i was seriously considering getting this. but after reading all the complaints abt the cr@ppy paintwork, i changed my mind. i can't risk spending so much $$$ on something that has basic QC issues. and over here, i'd have to pay 3 thousand in my local currency. that is a LOT of money.

shame. would've looked great next to my endoskull...

Man, I've been avoiding these Iron-Man 1:1 threads after canceling my Flexi-Pay at 2/3 installments! I still so dirty that the Australian dollar lost so much ground on the USD... It's made collecting so much harder... even for my favourite scale... 1:6th!

HERE'S MINE STILL DEBATING IF I SHOULD RETURN IT OR NOT BECAUSE I'M AFRAID ILL GET ONE JUST AS BAD. I THINK FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I PAY IT SHOULD FEEL AND LOOK REAL GOOD AND MINE ITS JUST NOT DOING IT SPECIALLY THE PAINT JOB. Yeah there's some spots on the mask that i think should be painted better, i havent seen spots like that on the other bust ive seen here.

That last few pics look like at the base of the neck is a big paint mess. I see a lot of black where is should be red or am I wrong

Could be worse, could be missing paint completly...like mine did, it wasnt even red..it was grey lol. I wonder what SS is going to do with all these returned IM busts?....
Maybe melt them down and create a SUPER bust with 10x the flaws...

i will be able to deal with paint flaws on mine as long as they are not on the mask ill will freak if the face is messed up .....

your right the base is a mess to is got a lot of black but what bothers me the most is the mask.

Just picked mine up and thankfully there aren't any problems that I can see. Awesome bust! Good luck to all of you getting a replacement and those still waiting to get their busts.

Don't get me wrong.. This is a nice peice.. But < LOL at the people who payed 700 for this.. You have issues..

Its worth about 3-400 to me...
