Bottom line its not worth retail.. That was sideshow making a quick million off you foos..

oh my gosh dude. i feel for you. dont get me wrong it is a great bust and i am glad to have it. but 900? wow! i am used to paying top dollar for these statues. got into the game late, and had to purchase on e-bay. i paid 1700 for my exclusive x-men #1 dio. but it is all part of collection, learning, and how bad you want it!
yeah man,thats true but i really wanted this bust badly n despite all the negative stuff written about it,i still think its gonna be worth it,good news being that i managed to haggle with my hk seller n now he's chargin me 786 usd shipped to india,do u think its worth it at that price,also do u see its value appreciating over time and by how much?

You shouldn't buy stuff for the sole purpose of value. Also, nobody can dictate the future... no bodie can not.. NO YOU CAN NOT BODIE! So asking us how much it will appreciate is irrelevant.
And yeah 786 to India is good. Especially if you're confident in the seller.
But do you think it'll ACTUALLY ever reach that point?? I remember thinking that the Thor PF ex would only increase in value, and look now! A fellow freak can't even sell one for $445, and these were selling like hotcakes for $550+ (of course when the Live discount was still around)
We just don't know if these will go down in price, but I'm certainly hoping for that
but with the thor, ppl are still getting more than retail for them. 445 is still making profit, i dont see anyone willing to take a loss of $300+ on this bust....cause if yur selling it for 400 and still losing 300, u might as well not sell it unless the paint is ^^^^ed up, just wouldnt make financial sense regardless how much u need $..........but on another note i just picked one up for 570 shipped

well i think that for those who buy this for under 620US are getting a very good price. If u live in the US you're laughing but for us who are OS. we're f*&^^ed because shipping from the US has increased exponentially in the last 12 months. Still SS rules for modern day collectables!!! No one can dispute that!

even if I was the saler and some one like hmmmmm let me see " bodie the curse " would offer me 400 bucs for it It would laugh at him.
the only IRON MAN bust that will sale for under 400 bucs one will be the one that is completly decapitated and glued with super glue and sold on ebay as new never opened.
If you see an Iron man buy it now for under 500 bucs if because there is a problem with it. REMEMBER THIS !! there is always a catch.

You're trying waaaaaaaaaay too hard to justify spending 700+ on this bust. If you like it, great, but this probably won't skyrocket in value like you seem to think.
Just a guess, but I'm pretty sure most of the people that you're saying "can't have it themselves" could very easily afford it.

I think Sideshow was sitting on a lot of these busts. All of the sudden they felt compelled to give it an un-numbered ES of 1500 and offer these as gift card items during the release of the Iron May DVD.
