Glad I passed. The returns/exchange process is a lot of work and by the sound/looks of it- every one is having to try more than once to get a reasonably "flawless" piece.

Gotta agree with you there. I've been on the fence on this piece for a while and almost jumped but then all the negative reviews started pouring in. I still want to get it because QC issues aside this is a definitive Iron Man piece and well, it oozes awesomeness. I may yet take the plunge but I'm going to hold back till SDCC. I'm hoping that Sideshow takes a few of these with them and I'm able to inspect it on site. Maybe even get Scott to help me

It's a great piece IF you receive a mint one. If not, yeah like most other things it's not worth the cabbage.

All comes down to the person really. I still can't pay Enterbay Bruce Lee figure prices... 175 is the highest I will go and even then I erked years ago when I saw figures top 100.

Actually this bust isn't clearly subpar if you receive a good one in person. Even pics of shoddy painted ones make this piece look good. Well, until you really zoom in. Having said that, like many collectibles out there... you have your good ones and your bad ones.

Thank goodness for me, mine came in as a better one. Love the paint on the bust itself... I still not a fan of the work they did with the base... seems kind of cheap to me. Definitely a top heavy piece. Having said that, it's no different from the Hulk PF. PF itself is heavy and solid polystone, but the base is cheap light plastic. And we all know everyone busts a nut for that little gem. Heck, I have the green Goliath in my collection as well.

that's funny since, any dealer gets at least 25-30% off of retail, and now this bust can be had for way less on the bay right now.

ssc discount department really needs a reality check imo.
