While I have absolutely no connection to the makers of these statues whatsoever, I have to say that these are pretty badass.

Mark 2 chrome ES - 25
Red/Gold chrome ES - 25
Stealth ES - 50
Regular Red/Gold ES - not specified

Hopefully Sideshow will eventually make a true 1/4 scale modern IM, but one of these is good enough for me.

And there is a base included with each statue.

are these 1/4 scale?? if so they would be sweet. only thing is that they look a little thin in the waist area.
chromey is a little to shiny also.
like the stealth best, then 2nd from left.

They're supposed to be 1/4 scale... from the same guys who did the 1/4 scale Colossus, Cyclops, Silver Surfer and Juggernaut.

The thing is that the Colossus that was done isn't 1/4 scale. It lines up with the Wolverine Comiquette from SS which is in between but closer to 1/5 Scale.

Any pics?

I just got off the phone with the guy and he said the Colossus is almost 20 inches tall.

HOLY BALLS...

Colossus if done in true 1/4 scale, the character is 7'5" when transformed which means that he should be roughly 23 inches not including a base. I can't see the pics because I'm at work but if its the one that has been floating around this site and others for a while he's on the black and red "X" base which is at least 2 inches tall. At 1/5 scale he'd be 17.8" which lets round to 18" to be easy plus 2 inches for the base would equal 20 inches which would mean that statue is 1/5 scale not 1/4.

Man, you make it sound like you are the authority on everything sometimes. :lol

You should maybe own one so you can get the accurate information.

Colossus is right around 20" by himself from top of his head to bottom of his feet (NOT counting the base) plus his head is angled down. He is taller and wider than the Captain America PF who has his head angled upward. He may not be true 1/4 scale but is close enough as the SS scale isn't very accurate either just like size varies from artist to artist in the comics.

:D I just speak, what you take out of it is what you bring to the table.

If Colossus is 20" by himself than he is three inches short of true 1/4 scale. I don't have to own one to know the specs thanks to you. The scale that SSC uses is the official Marvel specs which is why the approval process at times takes a while on generic Marvel pieces like PFs and Comiquettes, remember that Comiquette are not designated to 1/4 scale only some pieces came close while PFs are, artist interpretations like Adam Hughes line which has its own definitive scale between 1/5 and 1/4 as well are subject to artist interpretation not generic pieces. On the Official Marvel Website is states 7'5", which is what I am going by. If he is under 1/4 scale but over 1/5 scale then my original statement of:

Would hold true. He like the Wolverine Comiquette before him is in between 1/5 and 1/4 scale. Nuff said.

So if I'm right where does that place me in the authority rung? :lol

BTW: Here is a pic of the scale

And the scale.

Now Wolverine in the comics officially is listed at: 5'3" which is 63". At 1/4 scale he would be 15.75" roughly a little over and that is standing straight up. The Comiquette is hunched over so lets assume it'd be a few inches short to accommediate so he'd only be about 13" tall but longer because of the positioning of the body. Colossus even to match up to Wolvie would be 7 inches taller because this artist's Colossus is standing straight up. That isn't it.

Not that people shouldn't get it but just don't go in thinking you've got a 1/4 scale piece is all I'm saying.

Yeah, I am sure the 1/4 scale Logan PF is 5'3" according to the accurate SS scale for PF's..

The 1/4 Logan is 19 inches. The base itself is about two maybe three because of the design of it which would put the piece around 16" which would be just about 1/4 scale.

The funny thing my point had nothing to do with Wolvie or Logan just simply stating that the Colossus piece isn't 1/4 scale so since the artist is working in that medium these pieces probably fall in that same scale as well. You've done nothing but prove me right by giving me your measurements so I thank you.

I thought they were 12 inch figures. No lights? :)

A nice base would be a sold factor for these guys in my opinion. If he can come up with something amazing, then it's worth it. Otherwise, I'll wait for an official release from Sideshow.

They look like action figures.
