Great seeing them all together. Makes me want to hunt down Freeze.
I know they’ve done him like a dozen times, now, but I’d like to see them completely revamp him and do a legit 2.0 that fits better with the rest of the line.Perfect but Batman needs a real overhaul.
Missed Manbat and Freeze...I think I am done with Mondo. Just too hard to constantly get that Timed exclusive. Gets exhausting chasing.Great seeing them all together. Makes me want to hunt down Freeze.
The way you have them set up in that group shot is perfect!Man-Bat arrived this week, and I wasn't prepared for how huge he is!!
With the spread-wings attached, he's absolutely ginormous, and there's no way he'll fit on the shelf I normally keep my Mondo figures on. Will have to figure out a new display, especially since Bane is going to be massive too.
Anyway, here are a few pics of the Mondo BTAS gang so far (minus the first two Batman figures who are in their boxes currently).

I might just do S-hero and move on. Manbat looks nice though.
Didn't Rogue sell out under 24 hrs?Yeah I have no problem with timed edition. I don’t blame that on Mondo. I skipped Freeze because I didn’t know about the line back then. Doesn’t have to do with him having a timed edition or not.
It was like minutes, from what I understand. She went quick.Didn't Rogue sell out under 24 hrs?

Yeah she’s one of the few to have sold out that fast. She had way more hype than any of their other figures for some reason. She also wasn’t a timed edition. She was limited to 1000.Didn't Rogue sell out under 24 hrs?
I sold my Freeze because I didn't trust the rubber joint covers to last for very long. Great shelf presence though, so part of me does miss it. But I never had plans to go deep with this line (not that I knew how deep Mondo would go), and even looking at the release list so far, the only other figure I'd want is Phantasm (who I have on preorder), so not a huge loss.I skipped freeze due to the elbow cover/joint issue..
Got my Man-bat but haven't opened it yet. The box is huge.
I think the timed exclusive is better than the limited edition. If Rogue's is a timed exclusive, I'm sure many people will be able to get it, instead of being a limited edition and selling out within 7 minutes.
I skipped Freeze because I don't like the cell shading on him. It just looks wrong, unlike Zelu's paintwork on the recent Mondo figures, that is subtle and on point. And then I read about the rubber joint covers issue on this thread, and that's it, I don't think I will buy Mondo Freeze. I love Mignola's design so it's very hard and sad for me not to have him in 1/6 along with the rest of the crew!I sold my Freeze because I didn't trust the rubber joint covers to last for very long. Joker and Harley both turned out great from what I've seen, I just don't feel a need to own 1/6 scale versions of them. Phantasm was a different story (had to get Andrea) and will be lonely without a Batman or Joker, so we'll see. Maybe I'll finally pick up a Batman one of these days...I skipped Freeze because I don't like the cell shading on him. I bought Joker because to me the animated style Joker is brilliant and Mondo did quite a good job on the figure.. and then I have to buy Harley because I got the Joker, and it turns out to be the best animated Harley Quinn figure (IMHO), and I love Harley figure more than the Joker!
Now for Man-Bat.. he's actually the first Batman animated villain figure that I bought (the Kenner one) so I bought it for nostalgic reasons. As for Phantasm.. well, I got Batman and Joker already.. I need Andrea Beaumont!!
Yes, Joker and Harley are fantastic figures, especially Harley.Joker and Harley both turned out great from what I've seen, I just don't feel a need to own 1/6 scale versions of them. I'm fine with unlicensed figures, but the S-Hero figures don't quite appeal to me (though I do admit they look to be done well). It's silly, but I can't get past a fabric costume for a character with an animated head sculpt. My 1/6 figure collection is focused on live action characters, so I associate fabric costumes with realism, and an animated head breaks that illusion for me. So I prefer my animated characters in plastic (even if they do feel like giant toys at 1/6 scale).Yes, Joker and Harley are fantastic figures, especially Harley.
If you are planning to just get Phantasm and Batman, why not the S-Hero Batman instead? I think it looks great. Unless you don't like third party (unlicensed) figures, I think it's a really good option.
