The mk3 is just a smaller suit. It's supposed to be. War machine has a bunch of add ons that make it much larger. The mk3 was designed to be smaller(more accurately all the subsequent suits where designed to be larger). The scales not off, they are just different sized suits.

well putting on my nerd glasses ill say youre wrong. Rhodey took the mk 2 which was basically a mk3 in every way (minus weps) and it fit him perfectly (movie magic) and so when making warmachine they could not have added that amount of height because Rhodey would no longer fit in it. I think (as ive said before) the mk 3 is just short because of hot toys ab gimmick and lazy redesign

We don't really know how much of the mark 2 they used. They may have made an entirely new suit and just used the technology and power source from the mk 2.

The feet could add to him being taller than normal. But either way, I can't quite disagree with you. This figure looks just a tiny bit too tall. I'd like to see how it looks with the diecast 6.

Either way, I'm still super excited for it. There's just something about the feel of diecast on these figures that I really like. I generally am not a huge fan of diecast figures, but with these it REALLY works.

Yes the diecast is amazing. And from budget Starks video...this figure seems to be mostly diecast as it is heavy heavy (75% more than the 42/43).

Also back to the MKIII...I think what drives home the fact that the suit is near appropriately sized is when the head sculpt is displayed. Seeing where the head sits with the suit...yeah it looks like a 5"9 guy is in there. I think the MKI sculpt may look a bit off with the height of the figure.

Also, I think the new Iron Man Mark 6 will be in decent scale with this as it also indicates via the description that it is approx 32.6 cm (where the MKIII and many of the other IM are 30-31 cm).

Seems like the mk 1 & 6 are going to be the power couple of all of the duo's. Looks like they will be taller than all of the others. Weird.

Agreed that the MarkIII is supposed to be a smaller suit. But looking at the pic on the previous page, particularly, the feet, hips, hands, and head, the scale of the MarkIII is definitely a different scale than that War Machine. HT has been making bigger and bigger "1/6" scale figures lately, and it's certainly showing.

Figure in Budget Stark's videos looks great! Still not clear though which parts of the figure are diecast (obviously a lot given how much it weighs), and I'm also curious what the process is for swapping out the battle-damaged parts (just want to be sure they fasten to the figure well).

I agree with that despite earlier commenting that the MKIII is simply a smaller suit. I do believe they should be close in height but maybe not in bulk...after watching some clips of IM2, the MKVI is the same height as the WM and I'm assuming the MKVI and MKIII are similarly tall. But it's completely fine with me. I personally don't get all up in arms about the scale. I display the figures as "standalone" figures...I look at them individually. But that's me...I love my MKIII and I'll love this MK1 WM.

Here's what I think the scale between the Mark 3 and MKI WM (this is the old WM). These new figures are quite large and will be larger than even the 45. But if there is one suit I'd like to be larger is that MKI WM.

I just think it's odd that the war machine mark 1 and the mark 6 will both be significantly taller than the rest.

Both the mark 1 and mark 6 have the same height listed.

Also, I understand that the mark 1 adds some bulk.. But I don't think it would add that much height, not unless he's got some crazy platform boots on. But even then, that doesn't appear to be the case.

All that being said, I'm still super excited for it.

Looks great, Yoshi! :clap Can't wait to get mine in a month or so.

Great pictures Yoshi !! Please post more pictures and tell us what you think . Do you have Whiplash Mark 2 ? Would love to see them together .

Not the best pictures but I just wanted to show the size comparison to a few others. This thing is heavy as hell and super detailed, feels like an actual tank of a figure!
