Yoshi...how different are the Don Cheadle head sculpts. With this new figure it was said it would have a newly developed head sculpt I believe.

Great photos! Have time for a few questions?

1. How much of the figure would you say is diecast? It must be significant given how much Budget Stark said he weighs, but it'd be good to know we're not getting a $360 plastic figure.

2. How do the interchangeable parts work? Are they easy to remove, while staying secure once attached? Some past figures have either suffered from parts that are near-impossible to get removed, or parts that fall of (like chest plates) if you so much as look at the figure.

Thanks!

From touching how cold the diecast feels, it seems the whole legs are diecast along with the bicep area and elbows. Not much throughout the body, head, feet and forearms. I've not tried the battle damaged parts yet, I'll update you on that =]

Ok I can see a difference. Minor but still there. Sort of like the Mark 3 Iron Man Diecast sculpt...I found it very similar but definately different and the best out there.

Haha yeah maybe you are right. Something looks better with the sculpt just like I thought the Mark 3 had a better look to it. I think it is better paint application.

But it does say on the description for the WM there is an updated head sculpt...I mean it could be that it is a very similar mould with minor updates to an already great likeness.

I'm not sure if it's because of the photo or not, but the eyes look a little better on the mk 1.

"Newly developed helmeted head sculpt with authentic likeness of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes"

I can def see a difference. But let's be honest...how many of us will display the head sculpt when you can display this!

I'd like to display the headsculpt of Don Cheadal but unfortunately like the Iron Patriot and MKII the faceplate doesn't seem to wanna sit right on his helmet. Dunno how they keep getting this wrong. Again, maybe it's just mine.

Happens with mine aswell. I need to position it just right for it to sit right.

I can say that I will never display headsculpts. Whenever I try, I just look at them and think that I need to change it back. With this I'll be mixing and matching battle damage parts.

Yeah i tend to like the armoured face plate look...especially with this figure. The battle damaged face plate looks stunning. Just an absolute beast of a figure.

All true, but I still keep the HS under the faceplate rather than the light up function. It's key for when people visit and I inevitably attempt to justify the price. :thud:

For anyone who isn't into HT, there will never be a way to justify the price of toys this expensive lol.

I have the heads exposed on all my figures, except of my HOA looking MkIII diecast. Steve's holding his helmet, Scott has his helmet open, Tony has all his helmets open or off.. you get the drift, lol
