No. I don't even soak the clothes. I just soaked the robe alone, rung it out, then placed it on the dressed Obi and shaped it.
No, the robe is a little stiffer when dried -- thus it holds its shape. However, if you mess with it too much, meaning posing him in different positions, then the robe will lose its "pose" and go back to its original softness.

OBI-WAN futzed for your pleasure...
This is how his robe dried after the 'water treatment'...
Here's some poses with robe...
This last one works for me.
He looks pretty cool with his robe on, but it does cover up quite a bit of the outfit underneath. I still haven't decided if I will pose Obi with or sans robe. I also wish his "tunic shoulder things" would hang a bit lower in front like in the movie. Mine are really just about even with the tunic. I've seen all sorts of variations in length in all the pictures so far. As this is a very thin fabric that is textured, I'm afraid to iron it. I may just cheat and hike the tunic a bit in front.

Phew! He's OK. No staining from the robe's water treatment. Thanks for alerting me to that.

Yea, I can't decide on how to leave them robed or not, but that is what is great about action figures over PF. I change em each week, heck every day

Very nice W-G! Thanks for the post futz pics. I think his robe and tunic look just fine but I know what you mean. I am really impressed with the flesh tones paint apps, can't wait to see mine when I get him back from getting his "hair done" SDCC style... then I think he's a home run for me!

Man, this thing is ****ing awesome! The hair isn't 110% like SDCC but holy **** does he look cool. I have no problems with this figure. That's not SS fanboy talking for ya. He just looks freaking great!
