I said something similar a while back... I was only going to get non-movie versions of the characters in sixth scale.

Somehow a Hot Toys Batman Armory w/Bruce and Alfred, Bane, Catwoman, Batpod, Joker, Bat Signal set w/Blake and Gordon all managed to find their way to my house. I try to justify it to my wife by reminding her that this really is my only vice. That's working.... for now. :)

till they make more :lol

but still not pre-order it... for now

I can't tell if they look good or bad together. The change in art direction between Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight becomes very apparent when they're standing next to each other. :lol

It would be cool to display the AK Batman fighting five or six Jokers, like the hallucination near the end of the game in Crime Alley.

I'd really like to see how he looks next to the Arkham City Batman; or heck, it would be cool if HT made an Asylum Batman with a new material for the suit, similar to the BvS Batman.

Yea I agree, I have already mentioned on here that the more cartoony style of the Joker doesnt mesh well with this super militant version of Batman. Im going to try and get hold of an Arkham city Batman to go with this Joker. I think they will work much better together.

It would be amazing to have an Arkham Asylum Batman!

Yep. Both look great individually, but I think I'll be putting the AA Joker with my AC Bats. Makes a little more sense continuity-wise also.

Now Hot Toys, give us an AK Scarecrow to put next to AK Bats and we'll call it good.

I think they both look great together. They both appeared in AK and joker looks the same throughout the series so it works. Unfortunately the AC bats figure is nowhere near the level of this bats figure. Maybe they will revisit it but I doubt it. I think the AK version is more up hot toys alley and these two figs will be the last in this series.

I don't mind the look of Batman in Arkham Knight while playing the game but for some reason to me it doesn't translate as well into figure form. I almost think that Batman and The Joker look too different to really go together even though they're from the same line and we see them together in game with these looks.

I just feel like the more comic-y Arkham Asylum Joker fits in better with, say, Batman's more comic-y Arkham Asylum look. You'd think the AK Batman design would fit better alongside the Injustice Joker, since his design there has a lot more going on visually.

So, do you guys think his Arkham Knight appearance would've been a better fit?

...or, hell, what about his Arkham VR appearance?

I think redesigning the Arkham City Batman into an Arkham Asylum would be cool. I just think that those specific designs clash.

And maybe a sick Joker would fit a bit better with the Arkham Knight Batman, since that was how he looked throughout most of the game.

He even appears sick on rooftops & stuff. Although I did notice he only appears "healthy" when the fear toxin seems to be having a worse effect on Batman (during wilder hallucinations, etc.)

So, ideally, releasing this figure as an Arkham Knight version with a sick, second headsculpt would've been cool. In AK his suit isn't dark grey when he's sick like he was in City, it's bright purple like Asylum.

Heck, I'm just happy HT even made him in the first place. :lol I was just saying I don't think this and the AK Batman really go together.

You guys are looking way too much into it. It's not really that different from any other Batman/Joker combo we've seen so far. Rocksteady has always had this hybrid hyperrealism-stylized look to their characters. Real enough to almost make it look like it can take place in the real world, but stylized enough to give it its own reality and identity.

Re: Hot Toys - VGM - Batman: Arkham Asylum: The Joker Collectible Figure

I still can't get over how incredible this looks, the promo pics honestly look like screenshots of the game. Now give us an Arkham City Harley to go with this guy!

To me its no different than the Bale Bats and Ledger Joker. In the movie batman is armed to the teeth with armor plating, gadgets, all sorts of insane tech yet joker is wearing a dirty outfit,no special weapons or protection and it worked. Same works here for me, I love it.

Which is why I think it looks weird to pair them up. :lol

It's just my opinion. I'm sure there will be some awesome displays featuring them together. Heck, the AK Batman looks better as a figure than the AC one.

Eh, maybe. I just feel like his grungy look fits with the real-world aesthetic. Plus, TDK Batman's armor is nowhere near as complex as the AK suit.

The Joker is never looking for a 1 on 1 fight with Batman. Joker should never wear any specialized suits or armor. Batman is always using gadgets or changing things about his suit. For me, this Joker will go with any Batman.
