I guess it depends on your own favourite interpretation of The Batman/DC universe, that is the beauty of it...

I prefer to think of Batman as a noir-ish detective who dresses up in a goofy bat costume and fights crazy villains (so basically the animated series version)

But I think the great thing about Batman is that there can be many different versions of that world to suit everyone's tastes...

Re: Hot Toys - VGM - Batman: Arkham Asylum: The Joker Collectible Figure

And just a note on the Nolan movies, the key themes of those were escalation, phycopathy vs. physicality and most of all, reality...

Tonally the Batman/Joker contrast worked as they were very closely servicing those themes, which very well explains the contrasts between them.

However, if Mr Freeze turned up and freezes a load of people, the tone and themes of the movie would start to clash.

That is why I have my problems with goofy villains facing off against a super-militant Batman in Arkham Knight, it's just a massive clash of tones...

So what is better with this joker? the city or knight batman?

btw the city is so cheap atm

Sideshow Gotham Knight?

Seriously though, I'm going for City Bats. It needs some serious work to improve it, but going off this picture from someone else on this forum it is possible IMO

Please forgive what may be an obviously answerable question, but being this is a Hot Toys figure...will most any other Hot Toys 1/6 scale head fit on the body?

yes for sure ;)

Hope so cause I may be ordering this and swapping the head from another Joker figure. Not to be obstinate but I'm not a HUGE fan of the balding, faux-hawk look of the game. The outfit rocks out load though.

Heck, a Ledger-Joker head could work on this...

Huh, thanks. I would think that would limit the heads you could use on this thing.

I'll be putting this and Arkham Knight Batman together. The Batman's outfit is irrelevant because his gadgets and suits are always changing. Joker always just wears clothes and just changes the games he plays.

In some of the photos that Jimmy Neutron hairdo seems less "pronounced." Hoping the final figure sculpt tones it down a wee-bit. I get its accurate to the game though.
