1/6 Hot Toys Dark Knight Rises Batman

That's the funny thing about the TDK-trilogy cowls. We know that in real life, that part of the costume is made of a rubbery latex material. Yet in TDKR and Batman Begins (the "inferior" prototypes) it appears to be made of a rigid, shatter-able material. It's great for the visual, but it doesn't make a lot of practical sense. He'd need something with some "give" just to move his jaw to talk, not to mention putting the thing on and taking it off. In the Hong Kong scene, he appears to stretch it onto his head.

That's been bugging/confusing me too.

But I refuse to let it ruin my weekend.

Given the recent Joker sculpts, as well as the new TDKR suit, i'd say their level of accuracy mixed with their excellent talent with paint apps, we should be good. They'll deliver us a solid.

You can also be sure that when that day comes (unveiling their Bale sculpt) BAM Enterbay will be right there to attack, with pictures of theirs.

I doubt there's an upgrade they could do to the DX Batman that would make me want to buy another.

It was the headsculpts that convinced me to get the 2.0 Joker. Batman isn't all that expressive -- there's not much else you can do with his headsculpt. I already have a satisfactory Bale headsculpt that came with the Begins Batman ... so no-go there either.

Having a hard time coming up with a selling point. Guess it could have some cool accessories ... but I'd probably pass or just buy them parted-out.

A suit that looks much more like what it's supposed to would be a good starting point

Add to that fixed giraffe neck, more accurate cowl and new weapons / Older Bale head / Battle damaged parts = great potential for a knockout release
