Broke and happy
That's the funny thing about the TDK-trilogy cowls. We know that in real life, that part of the costume is made of a rubbery latex material. Yet in TDKR and Batman Begins (the "inferior" prototypes) it appears to be made of a rigid, shatter-able material. It's great for the visual, but it doesn't make a lot of practical sense. He'd need something with some "give" just to move his jaw to talk, not to mention putting the thing on and taking it off. In the Hong Kong scene, he appears to stretch it onto his head.
That's been bugging/confusing me too.
But I refuse to let it ruin my weekend.
