It's in keeping with much of the merchandising from TDK. Guess it just appeals to them. I'm not sure I'd call it OTT.

Oh, I understand it's something associated with TDK, but I just think that it's hilarious when Kato's face is being framed by it in every single teaser pic.

His boots have always been stupidly fat looking... and shin length also looked very short and stubby.

Hope they do a metal belt, but probably not.

Can't believe I still don't have a Dark Knight representation of Batman in my collection so I for one can't wait for this figure. Hope it's out before Christmas

I remember in 2008/2009 when the Dark Knight 1/6 line looked like it was coming to an end. In fact Hot Toys announced they didn't have plans to continue with Batman and would focus on other licenses. Before the customs, before the relaunches, before the updates I remember how satisfied folks were on this board with 5 figures and 2 vehicles. It was quite the impressive line up.

If memory serves, I seem to recall a few people even framing this thing to display with their humble 1/6 Dark Knight collection.

Pretty astonishing how big this whole thing has gotten and how far everything has come.

Think the TDK line was a catalyst for HT.

BR Joker was my very first HT.

I'm actually hoping this time that there is a delay on these figures!!! I mean, if Joker 2.0, TDKR Batman, DX07 Luke, DX10 Termintor, and City Hunter Predator all come out in the next 6 months, I'll need to work out an alternative funding source!!! Cant wait for them all!!

Just saw this. Love the look of the arms as they seem like there's a undersuit with the armor on top. Neck looks a little wider too. Can't wait for the full reveal

I really hope they fix the belt buckle this time. They had like five chances and they never bothered to change it

Looks nice. I just hope once it comes out the body doesnt ruffle up, the ankle pegs or whatever dont snap and whatever else may go wrong like it did with OC.

I will probably pick this up to go with DX11. Ive had TDK and DX02. But each had points that niggled me. So i hope i like this one.
