It would be nice if they could include a USB lightsaber given it being delayed.

So Hot Toys released their "upcoming releases" photo and Luke isn't in it. Clone Jesse has the same release window and he's there.

Maybe it's taking longer to get that "uncanny" look for Luke just right.

They'll need to release it asap as they've just announced ROTJ 40th...and Jedi Luke would be a high candidate for a reissue.

I'm crossing fingers Hot Toys will skip reissues as they did with AOTC and offer only first releases. More than enough options to avoid reissues i think.

The last time they published an 'upcoming releases' list they still released a number of figures on in the photo before many there were included. Not sure it means much really.

Unlikely. We look at ANH and ESB anniversaries and they won't miss an opportunity to throw a couple re-releases in there in the anniversary packaging. Hopefully not too many. Personally wouldn't mind a Royal Guard re-release. I had only got one because I was still trying to tell myself to be responsible but yeah, hopefully not too many reissues.

I think re-issues of Boba Fett, Royal Guard and Palpatine are a 100% certainty, and there aren't many figure worthy characters from that movie imo.

I think Endor Han is a huge omission with Luke and Leia. Do we think it’s a possibility?

Endor Han is pretty similar to ANH Han besides the coat no? But if they didn’t do him for ESB Anniversary I doubt they will for ROTJ.

Considering they didn't even include Indiana Jones in their "new licenses acquisition" announcement, I doubt we'll get a Harrison Ford figure any time soon. I hope I'm wrong though.

I think Bespin Han is the huge omission, Endor Han slightly less so. Until Howard and Harrison kiss and make up, nothing will ever happen.

True but in the description they did mention “and more” on top of the ones in the video so who knows what else could be there Maybe they are saving Indy for a special announcement by itself that encompasses a license announcement for the entire Indy series since it’s under Disney now and they don’t need to barrow the license from Sideshow like they had to with the original DX05?

With that said, the fact that there is still no Bespin Han even for the ESB Anniversary series puts any future Ford figure from HT in doubt.

Who knew that destroying the figure on late night television would cause us to never have another HT Han Solo ever again if that truly is the reason why

No not similar. ROTJ han had brown/khaki pants with yellow stripes. The shirt is different also and yes the coat would be the only other inclusion. Endor or Bespin Han would be my most wanted if HT would just do him already.

Hopefully these delays are due to factories giving some time and space to the smaller 1:6 companies with a backlog of figures to get out there.
