Sculpted hair looks bad, she looks tired and grumpy in that sculpt.

I think they are just using the NECA ones as a prop and hopefully they are going to announce more HT figures in a proper Alien line.

That picture posted a few pages back with the non sculpted hair looked great to me. Less tired, more stoic.

I think they are just using the NECA ones as a prop and hopefully they are going to announce more HT figures in a proper Alien line.

NECA made 1/6 eggs before? Those are clearly not the NECA eggs, they actually look good.

The hair is a bit divisive with a surprising amount of people preferring the rooted 'real' hair. But, maybe HT trying to ascertain if they could convincingly mass produce it is part of the reason this figure has taken so long to materialise. Maybe in the end they decided they just couldn't do it, so have gone sculpted.

I want a better shot of the Ripley in the power loader. Strangely, that one looks like rooted hair.
Could still be prototype?
Is the Alien Ripley a production version?

Probably best to wait until the announcement photos before jumping the gun. It's hard to judge off of photos where the sculpt is being displayed with under hand lighting.

OMG. It is like Civil War Bw post, where I said that the new head sculpt doesn't has Scarlett likeness. I think my perception is wrong or something...

Seriously? Take a minute and shrink the thing down to actual size. That sculpted hair is Expertly done with tons of realistic detail. I actually thought it was rooted before I looked closely. It will never require futzing at any point. The complexity for a sculpt is nuts. Count me in as sold here.
