That reference shot is a bit deceptive. Generally, her hair in the film did not look so feathered and Farrah Fawcett-like. More like this:

Yes, that's more like the 'real' hair.

I can't really decide from early promo pics. As we know they usually tend to give a false impression.

Still though, you're showing promotional "glamour" shots and not images from the film itself. But for comparing facial likeness this is helpful.

I like this sculpt a lot better than the earlier ones, and I don't mind the sculpted hair.

Many times in the past I've said "wow that looks absolutely awful" and then the professional photos appear, real world videos etc and I change my mind. So I'll wait until then to properly judge it. I don't know how I feel about it right now.

Plus, at this stage we're *still* waiting for Hot Toys to acknowledge it.

I am disappointed - other than the updated head sculpt nothing is new at all. Not even a preorder yet on her so basically this is a repeat of last year. The fact they are using all those old figures in the display makes me feel absolutely nothing new is even close to being shown let alone released. I really hope I am wrong but I have a bad feeling about this.

Mmm no....you aren't speaking for me. I actually like the sculpted hair and portrait better. Dusting that tangled mess would be a huge pain in the ***.
