It's tougher with the 238 jacket because of how thin it is. You can easily pierce holes where you don't want them and tear the jacket.

yep very scary for 238 jacket. but if it's not a paperclip but a thinner piece of wire... hmmm.

The jacket is so flimsy and weak on that figure that I wouldn't try something that could damage it.

Just went to a screening of Aliens here in NY. In the Q&A with Weaver afterwards she assured us that Alien5 is coming and she was excited about it. Saved my Alien Day!

Thank goodness. I'm just frustrated it's on the backburner so Ridley "I don't know what I want to do, but I hope my writers do" Scott can produce Promethe-- no, Alien: Paradise Lo-- no, Alien: Covenant.

Which will continue the adventures of Shaw....or not. But David will be in it. What absolutely won't be in it is the traditional Alien because ''it's been done'' - except that it now will be in it or I dunno?

Bloomkamp just posted new concept art for A5 for Alien day today, an older grown up Newt.

Plus Weaver just did an interview a couple days ago and said they're all still in contact with her, both Bloom and Ridley regarding A5 and it's still a go with Ridley producing, they just need to get Covenant done first.

It's funny. If you look at this time last year, they were pumping out the same Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow crap almost to the day. It's just the same rehashed **** every year. Age of Ultron isn't even a year old yet and it already feels like it came out years ago. Do collectors even care about all those Ultron variations, the Iron sentries and all that AOU stuff anymore?

With that said, we're about do for another Thor anyday now, right?

At this stage I am just hoping before the event ends that we at least get a pre order up so we know at least how much she is going to cost on her own or with the Loader. At least then for those who still want her we can budget and plan accordingly.

I think we're being overly harsh. HT released a fantastic Robocop recently. The bleeding head sculpt on the BD T1 T800 was damn close to the movie. HT also reworked their P2 Elder after complaints. I doubt this Ripley HS will be final product. If it is, there's still the Aliens version which would feature a different HS. That said, the likeness is nowhere near at the moment.

we buy every 1/6 license (thus forbidding others, sometimes more talented, interested and capable, to make certain 1/6 collectible figures), charge $300 over figure (which is now unique due to point 1), cheapen production by melting all 100500 accessories into one big piece of poorly painted & sculpted plastic and let our close friends make the headsculpts instead of constantly searching for talented sculptors. it's so unfair towards HT who...
