I think it's worth a shot actually.
If they updated the superman sculpt and reworked Bat flecks suit.
I think HT is paying attention more and more.
Pre-orders have cooling off for them. More and more figures are released only to warm shelves. I think they've noticed that.
I say feedback is great and may yield results. I wouldn't dare attack anyone who makes a legitimate stake. Exactly we are getting is good.
The photoshopped images are next level perfection and it can easily be seen. He managed improve the sculpt to the extent that my only dislike being the sculpted hair.... is now unnoticed.
I thank Argromenauer personally.
Send it HT.. explain the tweets, it might work to everyone's benefit.

Funny how that PS image looks like HT quality and the HT looks like it's from a toy company below.

ha, exactly.

i still think that it's more a bad paint than a bad sculpt. paint means a lot. those two below (official and bootleg T-800 heads) share the sculpt, but...

Looks to me like the lips were made ever so slightly fuller and the eyes less sunken in the middle. HT has problems with their female sculpts in general. They're either lifeless or beady-eyed. In Ripley's case, beady-eyed.

HT may be bad at promo shots - but honestly We rarely see HT (or anyone else for that matter) getting this close.

Man......you guys are harsh. I got the e-mail today seeing the prototype/pre-release, which was very exciting, and I thought it looked excellent.

Yeah I think the photoshop shows that the issue is definitely with the shape of the eyes. They're not quite as round on top as they should be and don't have enough of the upper eyelid visible to help give her a more feminine look.

Still though, seeing the two side by side, HT did come awfully damn close I think.

I just now preordered Ripley.
Been waiting a long time for this one.
I've had to make do with my Iminime Ripley for
the past few years, but this figure will replace her.

As for the cat? I agree, it doesn't look so hot, but maybe
the final product will look better. If not, he stays in the box.
I might try and find an alternate cat figure that looks enough
like him.

Okay, so the eyes should be more rounded at the top. The end of her nose should be slightly higher and pointier. I honestly have no problem with the original sculpt, but it would be nice if HT corrected these minor flaws.

Is this really a changed sculpt from the prototype? I'm not convinced. Don't make me post the focal length comparison picture again..

I'm more concerned with what the hell we are supposed to do with the neck?

This is how it looks and people are complaining about shadows in the pictures?

OMG!!! Morning here, in Spain... I'm surprised about reactions to my photoshop picture work.

If you want it, you get it. In a few minutes, changes over official picture. Not a Weaver picture mixed with prototype... Ha ha ha. Send it too.

Yeah that photoshop nails the discrepency pretty well with the Ripley '79 sculpt.
