theyre probably gonna release the white suit version of ripley later on right? they already have the sculpt, just needs to be painted white and maybe give her different hair to fit in the helmet

Oh, man...don't even waste time thinking like this. Assume it's never going to happen, and save yourself the aggravation, because it is more then likely it will not. That way, in ten years, if it does happen, we can all be pleasantly surprised. But there's zero point in thinking more Alien stuff is on its way (aside from possibly the Power Loader Ripley). As pointed out, this isn't Marvel or Star Wars or DC. This bone HT tossed our way is little more than Howard Chan justifying holding on to a license he doesn't really give a crap about anymore.

Pero has cancelao a leia?? Porqué??aguanta aguanta porqué cuando la reciba yo ahi toda estupenda pa figura y luego pa comprarla tengas q pagar 500 por ebay...

Con Leia me ha pasado al revés que con Ripley. Quería que acompañara a Luke en la vitrina y me flipaba la cara, pero el vestido parece de la Nancy, o una servilleta de papel. No he visto ni una foto decente. Así que cancelé y compré a la Viuda Negra por 190€. Ahorré y soy más feliz, jajaja. Por eso digo que dudo con Ripley... Lo que me gusta es hacer fotos de estas figuras, y si no me convence la cara, mal vamos.

Y que hace el luke ahi to solo?. Entre nosotros sabes perctamente que ripley vamos a obtener: esta!

Y fijate que es el mismo caso de luke, en el prototipo mucho mas marcado y en el real más cara lavada que en el caso de ripley, le hace falta. Es perfecta

Y fijate que es el mismo caso de luke, en el prototipo mucho mas marcado y en el real más cara lavada que en el caso de ripley, le hace falta. Es perfecta

Its 90% there, but it's a big 10% descrepancie.
Its all in the lids and brow.
Makes her look older than she was for the movie.
If u can't nail the eyes in a likeness it really hurts even if the rest is dead on.
Its so obvious that I confess to be being surprised that it was green lit as the proto.

Can we all tell who it is?
Sure.
But this isn't in HT top 10 sculpts.

You are right. It is not 100%. Not even the old prototipe. I'm sure it will win in hand I am really excited for this figure. It will display fantastic next to my bigchap (medicom...30 cm also...I don't know how they will look together)

Good to finally see this come out officially and go up for order.

Super underwhelming though. If this had been in released back in 2014 when it originally debuted, it would have been fine. That two year wait was a killer for what amounts to a meh headsculpt (Isee Weaver in there, but there's something wonky and dead about it), a reused base, a leaf blower, a cat box and a tootsie roll sculpted dollar store cat. It's just so underwhelming for such an iconic character. It's like, it took you years for THIS and you still couldn't even release it on 4/26 Alien day?!?"

Again, it's nice to finally get her but it kinda feels too little too late.

Yup, Returns Batman, John Matrix, Arkham Batman, Marty McFly and Police Shootout T-800.

It's like that's it, that's the best you have to show for all those years of development and anticipation? They really feel "obligatory" like they're just thrown out there last minute to shut people up.

I think the sculpt is great from an angle but yeah, dead on, it does kind of look like when she woke up in the hospital at Gateway Station and was sitting there with that blank look on her face while waiting for Burke to fill her in on what happened.
