is that the result of her hair being touched too much though or the hair just screwing up by itself over time?

i've had some rooted hair HTs for a few years now and theyre hair is perfectly in tact because i make sure never to fool around with it.

It's not even a fair comparison. The top one is HT, the bottom is one of those cheap bootlegs.

Alien 3 documentary - foam Weaver double for Charles Dance to run around with.

I think the sculpted hair will look better in hand assuming it has subtle variations in paint applications.

Why is everyone pro-rooted hair all of a sudden? I could have sworn the general trend was very much opposed to it not so long ago.

I would not buy a rooted hair figure. I have no black widow because of that.

Always been pro-rooted if done in a good enough way and WHEN it is necessary.
Many HT with rooted hairs are good ; a few examples are : Babydoll, Scarlett Witch , Black Widow Avengers and WS ,Pepper Potts to name a few...

This version looks so awesome !! Terrible decision by Hot toys not to go this route . For the price there asking these days for there figures . Make this work . I don't want to hear that it's going to be hard to mass produce and box out . The sculpted black hair on all my Hot toys figures always loose alot of there color and end up looking like plastic . I repeat , terrible news.

A little bit of Sigourney Weaver, a little bit of Tom Holland. But the store display images do make this look much better than the official reveal shots.

Still having trouble hitting that PO button though. Could be because the rest of the line looks weak (not that there's much of a line to begin with). I do wonder when we may see the Aliens version.
