I mean it is Ripley... and it's nowhere near as much of a fail as The Crow. At least the length and volume of the hair is correct, as well as the tailoring of the outfit. Sure it's not their best effort for 2016, but The Crow looked like a subpar effort from 2006.

I saw the sculpt with the rooted hair on show in China a while back, looked really nice. This new sculpt looks off. I had a go in photoshop and narrowed the face, fixed the eyelids and closed the mouth. Not a hell of a lot done, but I think she looks more like a human now.

That doesn't look like weaver at all there though. Some of those other shots did a little but not this one.

ITs like every person here is looking at different pics! I pre ordered and i think its fine. Besides, if you dont, im sure someone will do an aftermarket sculpt.

I agree about the upper eyelid fix, and such an easy fix to do.

Do you actually think that was a mistake when sculpting or that somehow the clay sagged during casting process? I'm addressing this to everyone who says it's a problem. The sagging eyelid is intentional. Obviously, whatever photo was being used as a reference had it there. It's easier to sculpt the smooth curve eyelid than the saggy eyelid, so no one just suddenly decided to make extra work for themselves and sculpt something that wasn't there just because they felt like it. Not saying it was a great move, but it's not wrong.

Narrowing the face is overkill and makes her look like someone else. The eyelids make a huge difference and closing the mouth helps (I shopped your eyelids and mouth onto the original pic)

I don't know, but I kinda prefer the open mouth. Not sure about the eyelids though...

The open mouth kinda makes her look a bit horsey, but mostly in that shot. This angle is better.

Nobody felt the need to shop eyelids on this, and I genuinely don't have the skills.

So the hs in the last few pages is the final one? I dunno, I think the first version looks more like Weaver and her stern expression works well with Jonesy's.
