Yeah that's nice. But as Difabio said, you can't trust those Hong shots to be representative of what you'll get, especially after the Batman Returns Bruce Wayne farce.

I was thinking Bruce Wayne myself looking at those.I only feel a little bit of Ripley in the last pic. The others no. I am really wanting this to be a home run since I passed on the HT Fett, Ripley is the only one on my list. Long wait. Want it to be worth it

Those pics may not be perfect but they are darn close. Now fix the freakin' cat sculpt and bring on "Aliens" Ripley.

JC Hong posted new pics of the finished test paint apps. Personally I think the first angle is the best. It's certainly recognizable, but not quite there for A1. Something about the chin/mouth area.

Better than NECA's effort though. Only high-end A1 Ripley we're going to get for now.

Yeah and that is just typical jc hong bs, that isnt even what we will get. I would like to think otherwise but i know better. Will just have to wait and see like always. I mean i wasn't happy with that recent Terminator Genisys figure they did, they changed nothing from the proto, which is why i didn't get it.

I think there is an improvement from the pronotional pictures! I like it more like this way than from the first one. I think that with good light conditions and a good pose, it will looks way better than from we have seen before. In the forst photo I can easily re ognize ripleyand I like also the last one

How can I say...? Is very HUMAN alike. It's amazing head sculpt... but I think is not "very" Sigourney alike... I think she need wider jaw.

But I'm sure, under good lights, good photoshoot... Here is Ripley at least!

I can tell who it is, but something is still off. I can't put my finger on it.

Really like that last one.

I wish I just collected JC Hong painted heads.

If only we got his John Matrix...

Not good angles imo.
Shows that she might have a bit of an overbite and those top teeth are showing instead of bottom teeth which she was more prone to show as she jutted her bottom jaw out.
Those upper eyelids are still the worst offender.

YES!! Now I see it... The BIG problem is upper eyelids.

Those lids are always showing when her face is relaxed, fix it HT.
JC's paint ops can't help bad sculpts.
