agreed. Aside from the proposed PowerLoader fig, is there anything else in the pipe for it being the 30th anniversary of Aliens movie? Wish they'd re-release it widespread in theaters again.

Out of all the figures I own, I don't think I have one truly "perfect" sculpt. Some are closer than others, but once posed up and under my cabinet lighting every single one of them manages to capture the character they are portraying and I'm sure this will be no different

Here's an idea, howbout everybody stop objectifying and rating these women. It's pretty pathetic. As for the figure, if you don't like it, well then don't buy it. Just cause hot toys didn't nail the likeness doesn't mean they owe it to you to make it exact to your standards. And if you're upset about it not being perfect and resort to rating/saying they aren't pretty to begin with than you don't even deserve to have the damn thing. Ya'll quit with this negative crap.

Plain and simple, just cause you waited forever like everybody else here, doesn't mean hot toys owes you anything. It doesn't matter either if you've spent so much money on their products cause you bought into it and that's your choice. They didn't force anybody to buy their stuff so they sure as hell don't need buy into your demands.

That being said, sigourney weaver is a beautiful person. Visually and from what I've seen/ heard (I don't know her personally) is a standup individual for what she does on the day to day. Perfect example of a woman imo

I apologize for the long essay as a first post. But ive been a long time lurker here and I come here to enjoy the collecting as much everybody else. I just hate to see people spew garbage and bring it to a low level. It should stay a positive escape from the mundane ********

No apologies needed, Jennydeath. The myriad opinions and discussions are what give the forums life. If every post was a warm and fuzzy one, the forum wouldn't be worth visiting.

This thread in particular has had a great history of posts and has gone through some hilarious themes in the process.

For the record, I already pre-ordered the Ripley figure but while I liked the rooted hair look better, the sculpted hair will not end up looking like a coughed-up hair-ball after some time. The sculpt could be tweaked further to bring out more of Ms. Weaver, but as is, it really is close enough. (for me)

Ordered. I really would love to see HT make those little tweaks because I swear it is just mind bogglingly good, but it might be too late in the game. I may try to have it accomplished in the aftermarket since I'm still considering getting a real hair replacement. Also I might want to pick up a spare head for a possessed Dana Barrett to go with my Ghostbusters (and yes Sigourney was both beautiful and sexy there too). Also hope this means Big Chap is coming.

Bit of a silly thing to argue about those, isn't it guys?

STILL waiting for this to surface on one of my favoured UK retailer sites but I will be jumping on the pre-order wagon for sure. The only bad thing is I need to be a Xenomorph to go along with it (it would look silly without, right?) as I have nothing from this franchise at the moment.
