Super Freak
It’s the plastic wraps on the heads that creates this. Smooth surface sticks to the forehead and messes it up leaving it shiny. Hate that. A matte spray to the spot should help.
May be worth a shot. Hate when it happens. I would reach out to SS if you went through them. Also, I’ve had cloak on her whole time and no staining like previous post. Good luck! Thanks for the explanation! It's such a small spot, though. I wonder if I should spray some matte spray onto a brush and just dab a dot on the figure's forehead?
Maybe the outfit was bleached white because that almost looks like a bleach stain where it didn't transfer properly around the collar?Grrrr.
Just got this a few days back and finally had a chance to open it and....

What is that blue crap on the collar? Did anyone else have this on theirs? Ugh. Not looking forward to the prospect of sending it back, especially since she's sold out now at BBTS so there is probably no replacement available.
Anyone else encounter this?
(Love the portrait BTW)
From the Hoth Leia thread, kicks off page 80 or so.Grrrr.

Maybe try a hair dryer. I thought I remember hearing that some of these sewing guides go away with heat.Grrrr.

Okay, glad to know that Popcultcha hasn't secretly got this figure in yet lol.Awesome pics JB!!!
Sorry to read about the pen marks.
Hoping mine from Popcultcha will show up this decade.....
Just got a shipping email from Popcultcha, and I don't think I have any other existing pre-orders. So unless I did some sleep shopping last night, Padme's on the Pad-way.Awesome pics JB!!!

Another win for PopCultcha. I hate that Pop Collectibles is essentially **** riding this brand for confusion.Just got a shipping email from Popcultcha, and I don't think I have any other existing pre-orders. So unless I did some sleep shopping last night, Padme's on the Pad-way.
I apologize to all of you for the gag.
That sucks to hear. Maybe keep a look out on Toy Anxiety or Monkey Depot to pick up the shirt parted out. They would note it on the listing if it had stains so I don't think you'd have to worry about getting one with the blue stains from them. It's not ideal to have to spend more but could be cheaper than trying to buy the whole figure all over again.Well, spoke with a representative at BBTS today. They have no figures available for exchange or replacement. Also learned that I am not the first to contact them about the blue stains on a Padme figure, which likely means there are in the batch they received with the issue.
Which sucks.
So, risk the ever-increasing after market price jumping even higher, gamble on another online retailer that may have a different batch (potentially different issues) or throw in the towel & keep this one and never take off the shawl.
I do like the figure, I just wish that HT had a better grip on quality. Another shot as I mull it over...
I can also confirm that Popcultcha have sent a shipping email to me as well.Just got a shipping email from Popcultcha, and I don't think I have any other existing pre-orders. So unless I did some sleep shopping last night, Padme's on the Pad-way.
I apologize to all of you for the gag.
