Well, spoke with a representative at BBTS today. They have no figures available for exchange or replacement. Also learned that I am not the first to contact them about the blue stains on a Padme figure, which likely means there are in the batch they received with the issue.

Which sucks.

So, risk the ever-increasing after market price jumping even higher, gamble on another online retailer that may have a different batch (potentially different issues) or throw in the towel & keep this one and never take off the shawl.

I do like the figure, I just wish that HT had a better grip on quality. Another shot as I mull it over...

That stinks about BBTS, did you try the hair dryer on the colored areas?

Pretty sure it was an easy fix on the Leia Hoth figure when I did it (the dots seemed to be cold/heat activated).

I just got Barad Dur

I'm building Rivendell at this moment. So many of my "toys" seem to stay in the box for longer and longer until I get to them. Bad Batch figs are still all in sealed shippers, c'mon Tech, your brothers need you to free them!

Finally arrived, and straight out of the box she looks fantastic. Loose fitting clothes aside, figure is top shelf.
Although I thought they added a mole on her upper lip. Turns out it was random grit.

Congrats on the conversions, folks - here's hoping she arrives with no issues for you.

I kept the damaged one. There was no replacement available. I'll just keep the shawl on for display. I like the figure so much. I'll just keep researching how to remove the blue marks on the collar and try it some day. Looking forward to the new shots!

Has anyone made a good Battle Arena custom?

Got my Mathilda today . Pretty cool figure, headsculpt is nearly perfect. I just disliked the windowed box, seems to me like box for cheap 15 USD toys. And the droid factory parts should have been magnetic to the base. Otherwise no regrets to my second HT (after Kuiil with Blurrg).

Yeah the window boxes are horrid and definitely look cheap, I agree.

They really should have used a different material for the outfit (like Lycra or spandex), which would have worked better to match the tight-fitting outfit she wore in the film. This overly thick and baggy stuff isn’t cutting it; maybe if they had done a better job on the tailoring it wouldn’t be as noticeable….
