I think they were clearly using the promise of a Bespin Han to help sell Bespin Leia.
It looks nothing like the references. The facial anatomy is off. Forehead wrinkles seen on the left are formed when you raise your eyebrows, the top of your eyelid moves up as a result, making eyes look bigger. In the HT sculpt, the eye shapes remain neutral relaxed, the brows are not shifted up, forehead wrinkles are even more over the top than the references. Whoever sculpted this failed at anatomy and used wrinkles as slapped on decoration.
I was just coming in to post those. Maybe we’re a step closer.HT made a big thing out of that Han. He was in 7 of the 18 promo shots for Bespin Leia.
And then complete radio silence.

If you want what you're looking for, get into a time machine and kidnap Harrison from the set.It looks nothing like the references. The facial anatomy is off. Nice, that's when he was at his most sarcastic, they should have gone with that expression. If you want what you're looking for, get into a time machine and kidnap Harrison from the set.
In 1982, they should be shooting the sail barge stuff around now.
That Leia Boushh thumbnail looks familiarNow all I need is a Boushh Leia to release and ill have my complete OT setup. (using a couple stand-ins here)

The super-wrinkly forehead and fresh-slicked combing was definitely a bold choice. This one has me little frustrated. Like everyone here, I really want to get this guy because, well, Han!
But then I take another look at those promo pics (and the price tag), and man I don't know.
It's too bad HT never listens to feedback. The likeness is sort of there, but there's something about that hair that throws the whole thing off for me.
For $450cad, I want it to look like Ford, not someone trying to look like him.
Thanks bro, but I went forward in time not back and saw a better Han, getting that insteadIf you want what you're looking for, get into a time machine and kidnap Harrison from the set.

I feel exactly the same way you do--the first time I saw the images it was disappointing to know that 1) it was not Bespin Han and 2) the best part is supposed to be the headsculpt. I am happy for those that feel this is the ultimate Han, but look at how well they nailed the likenesses of the Ahsoka line.It looks nothing like the references. The facial anatomy is off. See that photo comparison right there shows how bad the face is.....but people just can't see it??? The expression is a good percent of it, but the proportions are all off also. It’s just the bad hair sculpt for me. I question whether or not ones saying this is a bad likeness or poorly chosen facial expression have actually seen ROTJ.
All I see is the best 1/6 Ford likeness to date.
