It’s just the bad hair sculpt for me. I question whether or not ones saying this is a bad likeness or poorly chosen facial expression have actually seen ROTJ.

All I see is the best 1/6 Ford likeness to date.

I missed that ANH Chewie way back when, and passed on the TFA one because it was trash. I'm assuming there's a lot of people who also need a Chewie in their collection. And I'm assuming therefore it'll be a big seller. HT will get to it eventually. They're about to rake in cash with this Endor Han.

Holy cow, announced a few hours ago and this thread is already at nine pages. Safe to say a new Han created quite a buzz.

Definitely unexpected, and very cool, but I'd rather a Bespin Han (and young Indy from DoD opening scene). I'm hoping this figure means the Harrison Ford floodgates are about to open and more are on the way

Hoping this means we get an Empire version next? It's literally just a case of them adding the sleeves onto the vest to make it a proper jacket. Wish we had just gotten it included with this figure, even though it would have made no sense. Hot Toys would never.

Looks good enough. If anything, I'll buy parts from this to upgrade my ANH Han as I don't really want/need more than one Han. New body, hands and boots.

I do hope this means a new original trilogy Indy would be in the works

I don't think Bespin Han will be coming any time soon. After this - I think it'll happen, but it's a while away. Assuming Endor Han doesn't come out for a year and a half, you're looking at summer 2025 to have this on shelves. There is absolutely no way Hot Toys will announce a Bespin Han before then - and depending on the production run, potentially for several months after - to not eat into sales for Endor Han.

Add another year and a half into that and now you're look at late 2026 if not 2027 for Bespin Han. And that's if they don't go with Hoth Han first.

There's no doubt they'll make Bespin Han as many consider that the iconic look. This isn't a Padawan Obi-Wan situation where it's a wanted version, but not THE version. But there's no way they risk losing any of the high volume of orders they're going to get from this.

My biggest fear is we get an artisan Chewie that is limited. I could live without an upgraded Anakin...I can't live without an upgraded Chewie...

If you want boots, DiD has released real leather boots. I got a few pairs from Timewalker.
