The funky ankles on the HT bothers me a lot for some reason.

Must be a way to futz it. Either they go in further or it's armour position? I know there's padding under there holding it snug..?

Yep, he's on a KP-02 body.

Too bad the HT helmet as I see from those pics is not that different from the old SSC version - also the tiny SSC cod piece is ugly as hell. The SSC blaster is still the best.

I dunno, Sergiu...that was my first impression but after looking at multiple images I still think it's considerably better, maybe harder to read because it's gloss black with no separation between the lenses and the brow; plus the video of the regular stormies looks great, so I think it may just be lens distortion.

It'd be a shame if after all this wait they screwed up the helmet, but I don't think they will. I know we both hope I'm right.

Head on, the eyes and frown are shaped differently; the dome is not as rounded as the SSC. It's hard to make out the tubes/tusks but I believe they have better proportions.

The side views are pretty similar but the 3/4 profile and side views of the SSC always looked pretty good, if I recall.

Anyway...I doubt the white troopers have been tweaked for the worse. We just have to wait until August!

No scaled figure helmet will look as good or accurate as one of your 1:1 scale helmets Sergiu.

Just to check.. is that futzable, or is the leg armor too short?.. Leon, Stormtrooper stylee?

Can you be more specific?.. going back through the photos (a mix of exhibition and in-hand pics) a lot of them appear to show these Stormies wearing leg armor, that doesn't reach the ankles.. if that is something requiring anything more than slight futzing, HT will need to address the issue, before the standard Stormtroopers are released .. because it will be much, much more obvious with white armor.
