Damn, I was really excited to see this pop up at first too, but you're right the outfit just doesn't look nearly as cool without the reactor (or without the sunglasses for that matter).

So I went back and checked and the last Shanghai Disney Exclusive was the Gold Chrome Midas and it did not show up on SSC in the US. But if memory serves me correctly that was a special item for their grand opening and not a toy fair exclusive. Also this one will also be available at CCG expo..... so definitely have hope but woudln't be surprised if this never showed up on SSC.

Chrome Midas was released in tandem with a re-release of Mark 4 (not die-cast) and re-release of die-cast Mark 42. All 3 were supposedly exclusive for the opening event... I have no clue how they decided what does and doesn't go to SSC, because IIRC none of them sold-out particularly fast. I ended up grabbing Chrome midas from JHS Toys before the price got ridiculous and it's probably my favorite Iron Man figure besides Hulkbuster.

It's quite rare for Sideshow NOT to get a hot toys figure, regardless of it's exclusivity, but maybe things are changing. I think we may see this Neon Iron man if it doesn't sell too well at that con. But I don't expect it to be at SDCC.

There where a couple toyfair exclusives last year. Usually a few every year. I don’t think a toyfair one has never not made it to Sideshow.
