Me too, i prefer this over IP, but based on the official "prequel" comics, this WM Mk2 is suppose to be the original state before being painted into IP. So don't think it'll be in Avengers... although i prefer a WM Mk3 instead... :rock
Well after all the

jokes and wise cracks at Iron Patriot throughout the movie, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up restoring the suit to War Machine. I mean come on, warmachinerox! It's also the one suit that didn't get blown up at the end, and it wasn't featured in these colors at all so it would be easy enough to reuse it for future movies.

But they'll probably make a War Machine MK3 instead so they can sell new toys.

Yep, i think War Machine is categorised as Mark 22 "Hot Rod", which is still in its prototype stage. Would be expecting a newer version in upcoming films.

That was a War Machine Mark 2 prototype and it was probably in the final battle in IM3 so it and the actual War Machine Mark 2/Iron Patriot are most likely separate suits. Kinda like how Iron Man Mark II is a prototype of Mark III, but they're physically separate suits.

But like I said, I'd also expect a new suit for no other reason than to sell new toys.

Have to admit, this WM looks better than the IP, well at least IMO but I still feel the WM from IM II looks better. Of course I am more of a comic book fan :)

I was hoping for less than two minutes of Rhodey in IP / WM MK2 whopping ***, and we don't even get a second.

Its a good looking suit, way better than the IP, but its not in the movie, so I just don't care. I wish the Mark XVII and IP figures were at this price though.

It's really growin on me, and you never know, could show up in Avengers 2!

If that meant Marvel and HT missing out a chance to sell a new figure, I don't think so.

odd that no other U.S. retailers including BBTS have this up for order. is retail distribution of this figure exclusive to SS in the U.S.?

This figure and the fact that it randomly became available for PO on SSC website is kinda odd to me.

-No emails went out, like with all other PO's.
-There is nothing posted on their FB page
-no one here ( mods ) put the afiliates link up
-it was orginally revealed a week or so ago

ODD!

I'm thinking this may actually be a very limited production run. Hence the hush hush nature of thing?

Man if it is the case then this points to a very low number release.

Thats what I posted in the wee hours of the morning last night. Not so much the regular, but the exclusive. I am about to pull the trigger on it and just realized that unlike the regular WM, IP or Mark XVII, you are limited to 1 WM exclusive purchase. AND the exclusive alone has restriction on where it can be shipped. I could be wrong, but....:dunno

I'm not too upset with no headsculpt in mask with this version. To be honest I hardly ever use the extra headsculpted masks for display.

Its nice to save a couple bucks on this version (About $25-30) and probably could sell the little green WM1 for $30-$40 bucks and make this diecast pretty reasonable around $250 ish given the onslaught of $300+ pricing we have seen as of late.

I might inclined to order the Exclusive but I am getting tired of Sideshow holding my NRD for upwards of a year before the figure is released. Plus I am not sure if the extra gummy bear is worth the hassle.
