Great video!
Yeah, those holographic pieces are forgettable, that is, until Hot Toys releases a light table to replicate the one in the movie. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The box is ultra cool- the figure looks very high quality but that exclusive little toy figure is quite bad!
This is a brutal hobby for that. At the moment, I've got this, plus an additional 6 figures all arriving between now and late March (totalling a sickening ~$1600.00), but then nothing at all until late August or September. My only advise would be to re-evaluate if you really want all three (I'm not a huge IM fan, so the only one I felt was necessary was War Machine) and only get them if you can both afford those plus treat your wife to some clothes, shoes, weekend away, her hobby (mine's into photography, so that's a pricey hobby, also), etc. That's how I get around any displeasure my wife has when she sees another box arriving at our house, anyway!I'm in a quandry. I can afford MK42, War Machine MKII and Iron Patriot but I don't know how my wife would respond to dropping near a grand on them in a two month time frame. However, being these are what they are, I fear they will sell out and be absurd on the secondary market.
Decisions decisions... Iron Patriot is absolutely on the list. It is just either this or MK42.
I just can't ever see displaying them, personally. I still would've preferred to get the ex, seeing as how I ordered from Sideshow, but it would've stayed in the box.Yeah, those holographic pieces are forgettable, that is, until Hot Toys releases a light table to replicate the one in the movie.

Hmm, if she views them as "investments", then she's bought into it hook, line and sinker, so I don't see what the problem would be in dropping the cash that you initially posted? Sounds like she's on board.Money isn't too much of an issue- it's the fact that I spent that much money on "toys." She views them as investments as the price either holds or goes up on these pieces (especially Iron Man pieces typically).
I guess I'm missing something. I just ordered this but I don't see where I get the little hologram accessory...
Ah. Boo. Was there exclusives for MK42 and Patriot?
