I've actually never looked at a 4K television before. I'm wonder what it's like.

I only played around with one in an electronic store, but the detail compared to Bluray is glorious, I wouldn't rush to buy anything 4K at least not for another 2 years or so, you would be wise to wait for HDMI 2.0 to become more mainstream and for the prices to drop significantly

I don't buy DVDs anymore either. I just mentioned them because some of them come with both. My copy of the Avengers and the Harry Potter discs my wife had had both for example. My MCU Boxset only came with BRs though.

I download everything in BR quality. Physical discs are a lost art.

It depends. I think of collecting physical discs as something similar to collecting physical figures, while downloading digital copies is just like amassing photos of those figures. :D

Oh god I can't stand digital copies unless it's the only way I can get it, whether it be music, movies or even comics. Just having a physical copy and holding it is nice. The new smell, looking through lyric booklets and artwork. The smell of cardboard on vinyl sleeves and new comics. Just not the same as having a digital copy. As the good saying goes: "**** are nice to look at on a screen but I'd rather hold one in my hand." Though I do understand that digital copies do save space around the house I guess.

I've been determined to skip this armor given the price tag, but I'm starting to waver. I see it's still available for pre-order at Sideshow. Does anyone know if one of their current discount codes (Summertime?) will work on this figure?

Yes thats true. I download most of the stuff I watch, but I also collect Steelbooks, I love displaying them beside my figures(when I displayed those). So I agree with you

Anyway this is the XLII thread and we are :offtopic:
Perhaps an enterprising individual woill start a thread of this elsewhere, I find the topic fascinating

There is no reason it shouldn't, it went up for pre-order more than 13 months ago
