Sean is the guy who said Sideshow's Nathan Drake looked "awesome" and had a "great likeness" to the in game character. Dude lost all credibility there, and that was the first review I saw from him.
This was probably my fault, cause I linked it in the thread :lol But hey, I regret nothing! You're right. even the video comments and his facebook told him off. Hell, he removed mine and a guy's comment for calling him out in particular and just questioning Sean in general :rotfl

Sean's reviews are pretty mediocre honestly, especially some of the non HT/SSC ones - look at his Play Arts Kai reviews, he's like barely paying attention. If I recall, the only time Sean complained was this real ****** Hasbro 'assemblers' Mark 42 And Iron Patriot, plus a 4 inch Robocop figure. But I agree with other people, ShartimusPrime is pretty good. He's not as critical as I would like at times, like thinking the PI Mark VII was superior looking to the HT one, but it works. He has pointed out things I did like about some figures like some Good Smile Company figures and criticized them for it. I also want to do reviews for my channel, though gaming ones since mine is all about gaming.

I like Optibotimus, he seems like a straight forward guy in his reviews

My problem with a lot of the popular reviewers (and likely the reason theyre popular) is the way they talk, its very used car salesman comercial esque. I think thats why I like Clipperking (reviewerking) and Anthonys customs so much more, they just talk like you would with friends hanging out drinking beers and talking figures... same with Boog nice, just level headed down to earth. And the over the top hand gestures with optibotimus and sean long voice are final straws as to why I dont subscribe to them...

edit: and Seans freak out on his ex girlfriend was so damn cringey and stupid... guy is ****ing odd

Clipper is definitely the best around. I enjoy his reviews. There are of course other great reviewers out there for sure though but Clipper is definitely the no ******** which I like. I want the truth.I never knew Sean freaked out on his ex? When this happen. Only thing I remember was the whole thing with the online chat incident.

The thing with his car or something else? Sean is indeed an oddity though

Yeah she crashed his car into a light post in a parking lot, not biggie (because they were arguing or something) he went on a rant about it and would bring it up from time to time in his videos. Im sure their relationship had its things but going on a social media rant about it was ****in weak, especially when he has such a big audience of young (mostly immature) followers

Wow really? Man that guy.

Clipper & Waste Time Continuum are the best IMO.

I'd need a bottle of Jack Daniels to make it through a SL vid.

I'm glad you mentioned Waste Time Continuum, I think he does a fantastic job, great video, editing, commentary, and he covers all the bases, articulation and all that. I'd say he is the most professional reviewer out there, I like clipper's reviews to, I just don't care for the length of them, I don't need a 20 minute story on how he got the figure, why he got it, where he got it, and how the deal went down:lol

Waste time does some great reviews indeed. Each reviewer mentioned does the best reviews out there. I do reviews but they are no where as good as there's.

Clipperking is the best figure reviewer out there.
i must admit one thing i don't like about Clipperking is that he doesn't always show the light up features of the iron man figures because he's selling the figures later, i mean i understand, but the light up features are a main selling point of the hot toys iron man series, and i wanna see how they work :dunno

You do some pretty damn good reviews Ryan, don't sell yourself short, great video quality too. I do reviews to as you know, but my editing leaves a lot to be desired as there isn't any :lol I wouldn't even class myself in the top 50, but I just do it for the passion I have for the hobby, I don't monetize my videos, not that there's anything wrong with that, but just cause I don't want people to have to watch a commercial they didn't want to watch, I hate that:pfft:

Agreed, ideally I'd like those two to have a bastard child who does reviews. :lol

We can name him Clipper Time Kingtinuum :yess:

Not for me, i think they a pain in the butt. If there was wireless way to turn them on they would be awesome. But to have to remove each one from the display case, ruin your pose to flip two or four switches on each one sucks. I have removed all the batteries in all my IM figures (some were already corroding) and the new ones i never even put them in.

Clipper is very...how shall we say, thorough...which I like, but I know others don't. Another great thing is he won't BS you. Of all the people who review Hot Toys on YouTube, he's probably the most candid.

And his Optibotimus impression, beginning at 11:47, is pure comedic gold.

Haha you guys really dislike Sean! I watch his vids on occasion but they never really bother me

I haven't watched all or most of his vids, just the ones with the figures that interest me and he doesn't really bother me. I actually met him at the SD Comic-con and he was a really nice guy. When I saw him, I said, "Hey, you're that guy on YouTube." He smiled and when we introduced ourselves I offered my hand but he gave me a hug. We chatted for a bit and he introduced his fiancée(?). One thing about the guy is that he is REALLY excited about this stuff. You can tell when you meet him that he has a genuine love for collecting and what he does. Kudos to him! I can't hate on a guy doing what he loves.

really? i've liked them at times and yeah if there was a wireless way that'd be cool like the super alloy figures, and pose is'nt ever really a problem for me as i can repose them, but sometimes i like just turning the lights on to see the effect of it again, but i'm contemplating taking the batteries out of my vii as they're getting old. but yeah haha

love your signature by the way haha
